• The Boynton House Initiative In June of 2009, we purchased the previous home of Sam and Amelia Boynton, in Selma, Alabama, from the National Voting Rights Museum. This property, listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage, holds a very important place in the history of the civil rights movement. It is our goal to restore this property to its original historic state, and to engage the local community by opening a unique museum at its location.
