Long Beach Spay and Neuter Foundation works to reduce pet overpopulation and animal suffering in Long Beach by running trap‑neuter‑return (TNR) programs, arranging spay/neuter and veterinary care, fostering and adopting out animals, and doing community outreach and advocacy.

Cameroon is one of the last places on earth where gorillas and chimpanzees still exist in the wild. Our front line conservation work includes rescuing gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys orphaned by the illegal bushmeat and pet trades, and giving them a safe forest sanctuary home where they can live with their own kind. Conservation included people, too, and we work directly with local villagers, developing community projects to generate income for them. We have a thriving education programme and our teamwork with thousands of children and adults every year, most of whom have never seen the majestic gorillas and chimpanzees until they visit our forest sanctuary at Mefou Primate Park.

Our mission is to help cats and kittens who otherwise would be homeless and without love and care. There are many different focuses in rescue. We are focused on cats and kittens needing longer term socialization and more time and patience to blossom into confident cats who will thrive in a loving, furrever home. While this is our main focus, we are available to help in many varied situations. We also strive to help support the many wonderful people who feed and care for community cat colonies. These heroes are quite often the only lifeline for these cats. Providing education on why spay/neuter is so important to the health, happiness and well being of cats is a high priority. There are so many cats that are in shelters and need to be helped.

The goal of Paws of Honor (POH) is to provide veterinary care and products at no charge* for retired military and law enforcement dogs that have served our country, locally or globally. Service dogs deserve accessible, high quality veterinary care in return for their commitment and sacrifice for our country and the monetary burden associated with veterinary care should not fall on the shoulders of the officer/handler/owner once the dog has been decommissioned.

Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue, Inc. (LCR) is a public volunteer, non-profit (501c3) organization rescuing and rehabilitating horses and domestic companion animals.  Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue is dedicated to promoting and educating the public to humane and responsible treatment of horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules (equines) and other domestic companion animals.  Last Chance Ranch, Inc (LCR) provides a safe and secure refuge for abused, unwanted or neglected animals. LCR rehabilitates physical and psychological issues and places them into new homes where they receive the treatment and care they deserve.
