Build a War Dog Monument to honor the service of these brave animals to include a “heroes section” for the interment of K9s either killed in the line of duty or after retirement from service as a K9 officer.

Tenafly Nature Center is a non-profit, independent, member-supported nature preserve located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Since 1961, TNC has nurtured an appreciation for nature, been a leader in open-space preservation and environmental education for our community and beyond. Our mission is the stewardship of nearly 400 wooded acres for the purposes of conservation, education, recreation, and community engagement. In 2008 Pilgrim Bark Park, a gated, off-leash recreational space in Provincetown for its residents, visitors and their dogs was created. Our mission today is to attend to the ongoing maintenance and improvements of the dog park, provide a clean, safe playground for dogs and their owners, and be an amenity for tourists traveling with their dogs.
