Central New England Equine Rescue was founded in 2003, we grew out of the need to rescue equines from slaughter, abandonment and neglect. Our mission at Central New England Equine Rescue,Inc is to rescue and rehabilitate horses, restoring them to their natural health and good spirit. Educating our youth and volunteers to provide a safe environment for healing. We have implemented an educational program on the proper care of horses to aid in the prevention of abuse and cruelty in the Northeast and Midwest.

Their mission is to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote respect and compassion for all animals through education. To provide quality homes for cats and dogs through our adoption programs. To reduce euthanasia by saving pets from going to animal control and pulling pets from animal control when resources permit. To provide shelter and care for homeless and unwanted animals, reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter and TNR (Trap Neuter Return) of feral cats, and reunite lost animals with their owners.

End euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility through the following methods: Provide preventive health care for animals, monetary support through fundraising, and volunteers to assist the Animal Control Officers whose jobs entail animal care.Support responsible adoption, rescue, foster opportunities, and reclaims of pets at the CCAC facilityIncrease community awareness of the need for spay/neuterServe as a resource for the community in the areas of rehoming their pets, animal behavior, training, and options for medical care for their pets

To Prevent cruelty, suffering and inhumane treatment of animals. To provide for and promote the welfare, protection and humane treatment of animals. To provide custodial care for animals committed to Mountain Shelter through the operation of an animal shelter. To provide adoption services for animals. To cooperate with state and local agencies, as well as private groups that may be legally charged with the responsibility of providing for, or who share a common interest in the welfare of animals. To educate the community and its citizens in the humane treatment of animals. To promote responsible care and ownership of animals.

CLASS is a limited admission, no-kill animal shelter which enhances the quality of life and the adoptability of animals in shelter. CLASS prevents cruelty to animals by accepting dogs and cats who are abandoned or relinquished by owners, and also by accepting those who are at risk of being euthanized by other shelters. CLASS evaluates and administers appropriate medical care. All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before placement with families that have been screened, interviewed and counseled on pet adoption.

Support Monroe County government and other related groups to provide shelter, food, care, adoption and health services for stray dogs and cats;Support the prevention of cruelty to dogs and cats;Benefit public safety by reducing the number of stray, unwanted or abandoned dogs and cats;Assist in raising funds to support and promote the Monroe County animal shelter;Support local Spay/Neuter Assistance to Pets (SNAP) and other animal control initiatives;Provide education for responsible dog and cat ownership

1) Provide timely humanitarian relief in emergencies to help people whose lives have been threatened by conflicts and natural disasters. 2) Assist communities whose social foundations have been destroyed by providing rehabilitation and development cooperation for self-sustainability. 3) Pursue conflict prevention and resolution through our field activities. 4) Raise public awareness by disseminating information on assistance needs. 5) Put forward proposals for improving the effectiveness of relief-providing mechanisms in society.

Beacon of Light Animal Rescue (BOLAR) is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals; more specifically, BOLAR will provide medical care, including spay and neuter, vaccines, foster care and re-homing of abandoned, stray, shelter and surrendered domestic cats and dogs. BOLAR is dedicated to educating the public about the necessity of spay and neuter of domestic animals in order to reduce the number of homeless animals and the associated need for euthanasia. BOLAR will concentrate specifically in the areas of Northwest Connecticut and Cleveland, TX.

Founded in 2006, American Lab Rescue's Mission is to help prevent pain and cruelty, to place all adoptable animals in suitable homes, with the goal of zero euthanasia. Our Goal is to help these homeless dogs, no matter their ages find loving homes and get a second chance at life. The shelters, humane societies and rescuers we work with are all dedicated to help these animals get a second chance at life. Through August of 2016 we have found homes for over 6000 dogs.

Animals In Distress is a non-profit, tax deductible sanctuary for animals who have little or no hope elsewhere. Their programs are designed to prevent suffering and to save lives. They believe that there is a special home somewhere for every pet if there is enough time to find it. They keep every animal admitted, providing medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, good food, shelter, and most important of all, love, until a suitable new home can be found. No animal is killed because it is unwanted, too old, or injured.

Dorchester Paws strives to instill humane principles into society through the prevention of cruelty to animals. We envision a world where every animal goes on the journey from victim to victory. We are committed to ending unnecessary euthanasia and giving every animal a second chance; combating overpopulation by encouraging spaying and neutering; championing responsible pet ownership through public education; feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and protecting the abused; and reuniting lost pets with their families and finding homes for strays.

Our purpose is to improve the lives of community cats in Madison and Culpeper Counties, Virginia, We operate a Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program, the globally recognized humane approach, to reduce shelter intake and euthanasia of cats, prevent unwanted litters of kittens and stabilize existing cat colonies. Stray, feral or colony cats are trapped, S/N, vaccinated, dewormed and returned to their owners/caregivers.In 2020, we added a domestic cat spay/neuter program and monthly food support to our colony caregivers.
