The Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) has been serving the community since 1961, and endeavors to strengthen the human-animal bond by advocating and compassionately caring for animals. HSCO is a Socially Conscious Shelter that strives to ensure the best possible outcomes for homeless companion animals in our care and the community. At the core, HSCO works in collaboration with partners and the community to support the individual needs of people and their pets by providing access to thoughtful resources and services to improve the welfare of all vulnerable animals. 501(c)(3) liaison between area shelters, rescues and the public, helping abused, neglected, lost and abandoned animals. FoKCA pays for medical treatment of ownerless dogs, cats and the like that would otherwise receive no attention, helps pay for medical services for pets experiencing life-threatening illness or injury when owners cannot afford upfront fees for emergency care, and secures rescue for shelter animals.

World Vets provides veterinary aid in developing countries and disaster relief worldwide.

Cat Depot's mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats.

The Chesapeake Humane Society works to promote the welfare of companion animals through programs and initiatives that reduce pet overpopulation, increase adoptions, and encourage responsible pet guardianship through affordable pet care.

Our mission is to support, develop, enrich, and publicize the benefits of Palo Alto Animal Services. The Friends group intends to aid the shelter in accomplishing its objectives: offering animals for adoption, providing low cost spay/neuter surgery and vaccination services, rescuing animals at risk of injury or neglect, and operating animal control services to protect public safety. Further, our mission includes fundraising for a capital improvement plan to build a new, state-of-the-art shelter where the old shelter has stood since 1972.

At Forgotten Cats, our mission is to reduce the unwanted cat population without killing and to stop the suffering of the thousands of kittens born to abandoned, homeless cats. We do this by working with colony caretakers to trap, sterilize, vaccinate, and return every cat within a colony. We provide the necessary medical treatment for sick or injured feral cats, stray cats, and kittens. We are working to find homes for adoptable cats and kittens. We also provide education about spay neuter, and we are assisting other cat rescue groups with trap, neuter, and return programs.

Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust mission is to advance and promote environmental conservation in Southern Africa through hands on wildlife research, management of a wildlife, veterinary diagnostic laboratory and rehabilitation facility; the education and empowerment of local peoples in the sustainable utilization of indigenous resources through active involvement in conservation training and community outreach programs.

Spay Neuter Network's mission is to to eliminate pet overpopulation through subsidized spay/neuter services, while empowering communities to care responsibly for dogs and cats.

Frankie's Friends Charitable Pet Foundation is dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. We are equally dedicated to giving the public vital information about responsible pet ownership, care of kittens and cats, managing feral cats, and most importantly, the importance of spaying and neutering. The majority of our cats are cared for in foster homes until they are placed with adopters, who are screened carefully to ensure the stability and quality of an animal's new environment. Before going home, each cat or kitten is fixed, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. We also provide full medical care for the cats in our care until they are adopted. Since May 2005, Kitten Rescue has operated the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary, a private, no-kill shelter in Atwater Village. Kitten Rescue purchased the facility in March 2006.
