The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians ages 5 to 18 in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of lifelong learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are a stand-alone youth organization, not affiliated with a professional orchestra. We are the only program in Brooklyn to offer three levels in orchestra and two levels of Jazz ensemble. These different programs for different skill levels, coupled with our low tuition and need-based scholarships, allow us to include a great diversity of young musicians. Such a range allows students to develop their individual skills as performers as well as their sensitivity and responsiveness as collaborators. This in turn fosters the growth of the ensemble as a whole. BYMP has rapidly grown from a 25-member string orchestra to a multi-tiered program reaching over 200 children annually, largely from public schools. This vigorous growth attests to a need in the Brooklyn youth music community that we are proud to fill.

Closely Crafted is dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the legacy of quality Made-in-America goods through the commitment to nurturing artisan equity and the critical awareness of the craft. We will cultivate economic wellbeing within the industry, contributing to jobs, advancing sustainability & supporting local communities. By empowering the next generation of creators, we will preserve the tradition of American Craft.

The Country Music Foundation operates the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum and is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history and traditions of country music. It shares that history through exhibitions, publications, archives, and educational programs aimed at informing and engaging diverse audiences.

First Tee – Connecticut is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. Documentary storytelling expands our understanding of shared human experience, fostering an informed, compassionate and connected world. The International Documentary Association (IDA) is dedicated to building and serving the needs of a thriving documentary culture. Through its programs, IDA provides resources, creates community and defends rights and freedom for documentary artists, activists and journalists

The Stamford Chorale (Stamford, Connecticut) is a non-profit organization that brings song and community together. Our musical abilities range from beginner to professional. The Chorale performs a winter and spring concert yearly. We also perform various outreach programs during the year. Our diverse repertoire ranges from Classical to Popular styles. We invite you to join, sing and meet our wonderful members from the lower Fairfield County community. All levels are welcome. Auditions are not required.

NoMAA is a nonprofit arts-service organization that cultivates, promotes, and supports artists and arts organizations in northern Manhattan. It provides exhibition and gallery opportunities, runs artist studio/residency programs and small grants, and produces community arts programming (including the annual Uptown Arts Stroll) to strengthen the local arts ecosystem.

Common Threads is a national nonprofit that teaches children and families cooking and nutrition skills to promote healthier eating and lifelong wellness. It focuses on reaching under-resourced communities with affordable, culturally-relevant nutrition education and hands-on cooking programs.

TO PROVIDE THE GIFT OF MUSIC TO UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES OF ALL AGES VIA PROVIDING INSTRUMENTS, EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND INSPIRATION, WHILE MENTORING AND COLLABORATING WITH FELLOW MUSIC-RELATED ORGANIZATIONS TO FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF MUSIC AS A LIFE ENHANCING, LIFE CHANGING ACTIVITY.

To advocate for sarcoma patients by funding research and by increasing awareness about the disease. The organization raises money to privately fund grants for sarcoma researchers and conducts education and advocacy efforts on behalf of sarcoma patients.
