Acting as the philanthropy arm of the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia the Foundation supports current and new permanent and temporary exhibits, the acquisition and reconstruction of historic building, the reproduction of historic buildings and furnishings, and the preservation of historic buildings and artifacts at the Museum.The Foundation also provides the Museum with resources for illuminating teacher education programs, lectures, workshops, special programs and field trip and outreach grant program.

The mission of the LACS is symbolized as "Roots and Leaves" - preserve the "roots" of Luxembourg heritage/culture from throughout the United States and foster "leaves" of family, friendship, and cultural exchange, education, tourism, and commerce between the United States and Luxembourg.

EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

The mission of the Sankofa African American Diaspora 3D Museum is to create a virtual learning place that showcases rare collections of historical memorabilia from the 1600s to the 2000s. Our goal is to educate children of all ages (K-12, colleges, and universities), including worldwide history buffs. Our Vision We are making the museum come to life and showcasing a bookstore, a gift shop, a live café with local restaurants and fun online to browse. We are providing the opportunity for all to study the fundamental natures of knowledge, reality, and existence while focusing on academic discipline in African American history in New Jersey. The exhibition tells the stories and highlights the culture from the beginning of slavery to the end. Socioeconomic factors and contributions, such as women fighting in World War II, provide insight and inspiration. The focus is on the History of Slavery and the Underground Railroad in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania from the 1600s to the 2000s, with achievements spotlighted regardless of race or nationality.

The Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) is the philanthropic arm of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). ETF advances the field of educational theatre by broadening representation and increasing access for all. ETF’s programs aim to support students, educators and the field at large by subsidizing new, emerging, and underserved student theatre programs, creating paths for theatre educators to develop new skills, and commissioning research to showcase the value of a theatre education.

Address the socio-economic challenges of vulnerable human beings who are resilient to climate change

The Ukrainian Association of Washington State is a non-profit, tax exempt organization under IRS Code Section 501(c) 3, which works to preserve Ukrainian heritage and is the link that unites our Ukrainian-American people. The Association is active in organizing the various cultural and artistic activities as well as patriotic gatherings. Our focus will always be to bring out what is the best in our Ukrainian community.

People with disabilities are extremely limited in the range of sports and recreational activities available to them. For many, their participation in outdoor activities is limited to being a spectator, a passive onlooker. Sailing, long regarded as a symbol of freedom and independence, has been only a symbol for people without disabilities - until now. In the fall of 1994, twelve new sailors formed... the Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta (DSA Alberta) with the goal of establishing permanent sailing programs for children and adults with disabilities in Alberta. Now, after many seasons of successful operation, thousands of Albertans can say they've "Gone Sailing!" through DSA Alberta programs.

The Bluegrass Music Association of Maine is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting bluegrass music in Maine.

The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo was established in 1985 to support newcomers through programs and events and to foster cross-cultural awareness and understanding. Our vision is one of unity in diversity.

The Women’s Art Association of Canada is a registered not-for-profit organization managed by a volunteer executive and comprised of about 200 members. The Women's Art Association of Canada continues to fulfill the mission established 125 years ago and awards annual scholarships to assist students in various fields of the Arts. Currently 13 scholarships are given to schools such as the National Ballet School, the Royal Conservatory of Music, the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, the Ontario College of Art and Design, Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advance Learning and George Brown The City College. The first Women's Art Association Scholarship was granted in 1947 to the Ontario College of Art, which was, in fact, the first scholarship for the College. Funding for scholarships comes from a combination of public donations, bequests and revenues from various volunteer-run art and cultural events.

The Association of Performing Arts Presenters develops and supports a robust performing arts presenting field and the professionals who work in it. VALUES: Artistic expression - We foster an appreciation for the performing arts among our members and their audiences. The performing arts, in all of their diverse forms, offer a way for people to know and understand themselves. Live performance is a universal form of communication and is fundamental to civic community life. Knowledge - We value the opportunity for members to share with and learn from one another, drawing upon their more than 50 years of collective wisdom. Continually building new skills, developing leadership, seeking greater insights, and challenging convention fosters innovation and encourages new thinking among our members and advances the overall health of the performing arts presenting field. Cultural inclusivity - We believe the performing arts bridges differences among individuals, communities and cultures. For the performing arts to flourish, we must have cultural diversity in our membership, our organizations, our presentations, and our audiences. VISION for the FUTURE: The Association envisions a world where all people experience the transformative power of live performance the performing arts presenting field is strong and vibrant -- a world where performing artists are integral to all communities, where ideas circulate vigorously and freely, and where people from all cultures affirm and understand themselves and each other through the arts.
