The primary mission of the nonprofit State Theatre is to provide a stage to celebrate and explore the arts together. We serve people of all ages, races, socio-economic backgrounds and cultural interests through our diverse programming, arts education and other community-based initiatives.

Teatro Vista is a Latine-founded, nonprofit theatre and production company that develops and produces new work by artists of color. It focuses on cultivating Latine and other artists through productions, professional development, and multimedia projects to increase representation and career opportunities in the theatre and entertainment fields.

Synetic redefines theatre by blending innovative techniques and movement, investing in artists' growth, and creating unforgettable visceral experiences for every audience.

Live Music Fostering Community organizes free and low-cost live‑music events to bring people together and strengthen local community ties on the Peninsula. It runs the Rock the Dock concert series and other live-music programming, relying largely on community donations and volunteers to make performances accessible across culturally and economically diverse neighborhoods.

Charlotte Ballet's mission is to provide artistically excellent programming to diverse audiences in its home city of Charlotte, the Southeast region, and to the varied communities it serves while on tour across the nation. Charlotte Ballet has received critical recognition nationally for excellence in programming, education and outreach, and dance training.

To cultivate bold theater that spans the globe and elevates new voices, facilitating meaningful connections in the mind and authentic expressions of the soul.

As the Nation's foremost producer of Shakespeare, the Public Theater is dedicated to acheiving artisitc excellence while developing an American theater that is accessible and relevant to all people through productions of challenging new plays, musicals and innovative stagings of the classics.

IRIS MUSIC PROJECT REIMAGINES RESIDENTIAL AND HEALTHCARE COMMUNITIES AS SPACES OF CREATIVE EXCHANGE. THROUGH COLLABORATIVELY DESIGNED PROGRAMMING, IRIS MUSIC PROJECT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONNECTION AND PURPOSE FOR RESIDENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND MUSICIANS.

The OUTMUSIC Awards (OMAs) is the biggest night in LGBT music & entertainement presented by LARA the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts. Their mission is to educate, raise awareness and ensure that the contributions and achievements of marginalized LGBT are acknowledged, documented, celebrated and included in media, music and entertainment history. To support their missions, they film the OUTMUSIC Awards live to tape.

To elevate student engagement, and expand the role of music in education by making purposeful, inclusive music a joyful and integral part of literacy, academic, and social-emotional learning throughout the school day, and beyond. We accomplish this by training and equipping inspired educators to integrate hands-on music and songs for learning with classroom instruction, activities, transitions, support services, and building classroom communities. ​Our unique, developmental approach nurtures creative and effective teaching practices through free weekly professional development (PD) courses in ukulele, guitar, and classroom implementation, as well as capacity-building co-teaching artist residencies, intensive workshops, in-service trainings, conference presentations, after school music clubs, and specialized services in adaptive music for inclusion.
