THE MISSION OF THE BIG SKY FILM INSTITUTE IS TO CELEBRATE AND PROMOTE THE ART OF NON-FICTION FILMMAKING, AND TO ENCOURAGE MEDIA LITERACY BY FOSTERING PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF DOCUMENTARY FILM.

TO PROVIDE VIDEO PRODUCTION AND WEB-ENABLED CONTENT TO CHRITABLE ORGANIZATIONS FOCUSED ON CAUSES SUCH AS EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, WOMEN'S ISSUES, HUMAN RIGHTS, ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS, AND ANTI-VIOLENCE. ALL GRANTS ARE IN KIND

Project Twenty1 has an EPIC mission. We Educate, Promote, Inspire, and Connect creatives through film and animation programs in the Greater Philadelphia area that attract participants from all over the world. We help turn artistic passions into careers. We help unite the world of independent artists, allow them direct paths to their audiences, and at the same time build the cultural and artistic scene in Philadelphia and beyond. We create a network of support, promotion, and distribution through which motivated filmmakers and artists can get their work seen internationally. And in the process, we witness the birth of exciting new creative relationships and truly original, entertaining films.

WETA's mission is to produce and broadcast programs of intellectual integrity and cultural merit that recognize viewers' and listeners' intelligence, curiosity and interest in the world around them. As an independent and not-for-profit public broadcaster and producer, WETA provides its viewers and listeners with quality, compelling programs and serves a broad community with educational projects and Web-based initiatives.

WCPE’s mission is to expand the community of classical music lovers by sharing accessible classical music with everyone, everywhere, at any time. We entertain, educate, and engage our audience with informative announcers, programs, and publications. We strive to make it easy to appreciate and enjoy Great Classical Music. We envision a continuously expanding worldwide interactive community of classical music listeners. Their lives are more fulfilled and complete because of the emotional, physical, and intellectual benefits that Great Classical Music brings.

ProPublica is an independent, nonprofit newsroom that produces in-depth investigative journalism to expose abuses of power and betrayals of public trust by government, corporations, and other institutions. Its reporting aims to shine sustained light on wrongdoing and drive accountability and reform; the organization funds and publishes investigations, data tools, and collaborations to maximize public impact.

The Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism (PVCEB) serves as the U.S. governance and charitable body for Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village sangha. It supports and represents the tradition’s monasteries and publishing (e.g., Deer Park Monastery, Blue Cliff, Magnolia Grove, Parallax Press), and raises funds and resources to preserve and share the teachings and community practice of Engaged Buddhism.

Our programming supports and enriches the community through the airwaves, focusing on six core values: localism, service, diversity, community, education, and entertainment. Arts, Culture, and Humanities

Launched in 1995, Free Speech TV is an independent, publicly-supported multi-platform digital media pioneer. Using both television and the Internet, Free Speech TV inspires viewers to become civically engaged to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable society. Promoting voices and perspectives under-represented in the media, FSTV broadcasts and webcasts independently-produced programs addressing social, political, cultural, and environmental issues. Featured programs include Democracy Now!, The Thom Hartmann Program, Gay USA and investigative documentaries. FSTV airs on DISH Network (9415), DIRECTV (348), Roku and community cable affiliates. Programming streams on www.freespeech.org and is syndicated on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. FSTV broadcasts are commercial-free and viewer supported. Free Speech TV is owned and operated by Public Communicators.
