QWOCMAP uses film to shatter stereotypes and bias, reveal the lived truths of inequality, and build understanding and community around art and social justice. QWOCMAP creates, exhibits, and distributes high-impact films that authentically reflect the lives of queer women of color (cisgender & transgender), and gender nonbinary and transgender people of color (of any orientation), and address the vital, intersecting social justice issues that concern multiple communities.

The Arts Council supports local artists and arts organizations through public–private partnerships, grantmaking, events, and programs that stimulate economic activity, build community, and promote the Cape Fear region as an arts destination.

Based on Edgar Cayce's pyschic readings, our mission is to help people change their lives for the better physically, mentally & spiritually through the exploration and study of subjects like holistic health, personal spirituality, dreams, intuition, and reincarnation.
