HIM engages gay men, our communities, health professionals and researchers to strengthen the physical, sexual, social, and mental health and well-being of gay men. In addition to providing STI and HIV testing, by appointment or on a walk-in basis, HIM's health centres also offer professional and peer support services, sexual health education. We also provide personal strategic advising that helps clients identify an action plan, and follow-up support to help its achievement. Other programs include summer boot camps, yoga classes, and facilitator-led, walk-in social support groups. Lookout Emergency Aid Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, providing non-sectarian lay services to adult men and women who cope with a wide variety of challenges including mental illness, mental handicaps, medical problems, physical disabilities, social dysfunctions, substance abuse or - more frequently - a combination of issues.

The Alex is a not-for-profit organization that has been in existence since 1973. The Alex provides services and programs to individuals and families who experience barriers to health. Using a multidisciplinary team approach, we focus care on assessment, intervention and promotion of all aspects of health. We embrace a model of healthcare that is accessible, responsive and participatory. The Alex has grown to now include 6 major programs at 3 different locations. Services and programs are provided at the Family Health Centre, the Seniors' Health Centre, the Community Health Bus, Pathways to Housing, the Youth Health Centre and HomeBase. We are known as innovative, creative and supportive of a worker - involved approach to workplace health and safety. The work of the Alberta Workers' Health Centre will be accomplished, alone or with others, by: • acting as a ‘first contact’ point for workers seeking help; • providing workers with education and information to help them solve problems; • working to promote health and safety issues in high schools and other learning institutions; • raising public awareness of workplace health and safety issues.

In the Centre: At the GRCHC, we have a team of health professionals dedicated to client-centred care. This includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, a social worker, registered dietitian, counsellor, chronic disease specialist, and community support facilitator/advocate. Our registered clients have access to this team who work with them towards helping them achieve better health and wellness. In the community: Our health promotion and community development team works with dozens of community partners and agencies to reduce barriers and improve health & wellness.

The BRHC Foundation supports and augments health care for all who are served by the Brandon Regional Health Centre through funds received from personal donations, memorial gifts, gifts of planned giving and special occasion gifts.

The Haliburton Highlands Health Service Foundation is an incorporated registered Canadian charity that financially supports the hospitals and health care facilities in Haliburton County. The money is raised through personal, business & corporate donations, special events, promotions, annual giving and the special gift program. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who dedicate their time and expertise to have better health care and hospital facilities.

The Tanzania Health and Education Mission is a California non-profit, charitable organization established in 2007 in order to support the local health clinics and schools in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Our mission is to deliver, directly to the people of Tanzania, goods and services to improve their health and education. This includes: 1 - provide medicines and vitamins for rural dispensaries inTanzania, 2 - direct payment of scholarships for student, trainees and nursery school teachers in Tanzania, and 3 - purchase and distribution of food in three rural communities in Tanzania.
