The Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (CFFM) is the national voice to promote museums for the benefit of all Canadians. More than 100,000 volunteers, donors, trustees, and others offer their time, money and expertise to the museum community in Canada. CFFM is honoured to have the Governor General of Canada as a patron.

The “Friends of the Federation of Calgary Communities” is a registered charitable organization under the not-for-profit organization "The Federation of Calgary Communities." The Friends deliverables are to: - encourage Calgarians to volunteer - improve the capacity of organizations to involve volunteers - promote public participation with volunteer/community organizations with an aim to foster good citizenship and encourage healthy communities - provide courses, seminars, workshops, and other educational programs and resources of use to volunteers The Friends of the Federation can assist our not-for-profit member organizations WHO DO NOT have registered charitable status, by serving as a “charitable sponsor” for that member organization to gain access to a Calgary Foundation Neighbour Grant.
