The Anglican Foundation of Canada

The Anglican Foundation of Canada was established in 1957 as a separate corporation of the Anglican Church of Canada, distinct from General Synod. It was created in order to respond to the many needs of the Anglican Church of Canada. The Foundation's mandate includes supporting church camps, conferences and programs, publications, bursaries for theological students, creative programs in music, art, drama and dance, aboriginal prayer and peace circles and much more. In addition, we provide assistance to help build or renovate churches, halls, and rectories, including the creation of handicapped-accessible spaces. This is accomplished through a regular grants and loans program, as well as through 36 donor-designated trusts.
