Historically themed areas tell the story of Nova Scotia settlement from an agricultural and horticultural perspective, showcasing gardening methods, designs and materials representing more than four hundred years of local history. These core gardens are linked by paths through many other display areas featuring plant collections, garden art, water features and natural areas. The BC Lung Association provides patient, public and professional education programs, advocates for lung health issues and provides support for scientific research into lung health, lung disease and ways lung health can be improved. The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority is an environmental advisory and protection agency based out of Kingston, Ontario. Our jurisdiction spans more than 3,500 sq. km of land in 11 different municipalities, including Kingston, Gananoque, Brockville and Newboro. The CRCA owns more than 4000 hectares of conservation land. We purchase land to protect it from being developed, preserve natural features and wildlife habitat, provide public access to the natural environment and undertake water management projects, such as flood control.
