(1) The Air Force Association of Canada, formerly the Royal Canadian Air Force Association was established in 1948 as the national advocacy group to support and promote the Royal Canadian Air Force and to unite Air Force veterans of the Second World War. (2) The Royal Canadian Air Force Association Trust was established in 1975 under the authority of Association By-Law 7(g)(iii) after endorsement, as a Silver Anniversary project at the 1973 Annual General Meeting of the Association (NEC 52-13). (3) The Trust is a subsidiary of the Air Force Association of Canada, created in accordance with the Trust Agreement, included at Annex A, responsible for raising and distributing funds at the National level for the Association charitable and heritage programs. (4) The Trust is a registered charitable organization.
ORMTA is a not-for-profit provincial organization managed by a volunteer council and comprised of more than 1,300 Registered Music Teachers and related members across Ontario. ORMTA is affiliated with the national association, the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations (CFMTA). The aim of ORMTA is to encourage and provide the highest calibre of music education possible and to promote high standards of music in each community.
Established in 1992, the Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association (BBEMA) is a not-for-profit charitable organization focusing on conserving and enhancing the environment through planning, education, partnerships and projects. The Nidus Personal Planning Resource Centre is a non-profit, charitable organization. Nidus provides • Public legal education on personal planning and related matters such as health care consent, living wills and advance directives • Problem-solving and coaching in support of best practices for attorneys, representatives, and monitors • Training for volunteers and organizations • Policy consultation for third parties Nidus also operates a centralized Registry for personal planning documents in partnership with Juricert Inc. of the Law Society of British Columbia. Nidus is currently the only community-based resource in Canada devoted to personal planning. Its existence sets British Columbia apart as a leader in addressing the critical needs of an aging population and in facilitating Representation Agreements as a legal model for supported decision making which inspired Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (2008).
Our Vision - All people have the resources they need for mental health and full participation in community life. CMHA-Edmonton Region is a non-profit volunteer agency. It functions as a community centre promoting mental health. It works in partnership with other community agencies to educate about mental health and illness, to advocate for better conditions in the community and to help people build strong supports for community life. This is accomplished through social action, public education, direct service programs, housing and other special agency projects. The agency's operation is governed by the Mental Health Act, the Health Information Act, the Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act, the Companies Act, the Protections of Persons in Care Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.

Founded in 1983, the BBPA is a non-profit, charitable organization that addresses equity and opportunity for the Black community in business, employment, education and economic development. The BBPA sponsors the annual BBPA Harry Jerome Awards, a national awards event that recognizes and honours excellence in achievement and supports higher education through the BBPA Harry Jerome Scholarship Fund. In addition the BBPA provides networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and professionals.
