Established in 2007, Riseup House provides outreach services for women impacted by domestic violence in intimate partner relationships through women's support groups, individualized counselling and educational resources. Riseup House also provides seminars and workshops to build awareness in the community of the dynamics and effective responses to domestic violence and abuse.

Public Citizen Foundation supports the research and educational work of Public Citizen, Inc. founded in 1971 to promote consumer rights, open government, corporate responsibility, clean energy, fair trade, environmental protection, and workplace safety.

The Public Leadership Education Network is the only national organization with the sole focus of preparing college women for leadership in the public policy arena.

Education: We provide speakers and free publications such as the Privacy Handbook, Rights Talk, The Arrest Handbook, Police Complaints and the Citizenship Handbook. Advocacy: We provide direct assistance to individuals who have complaints or concerns about civil liberties violations by government, employers, etc. Common areas of work include police and privacy complaints, free speech and anti-oppression. Policy: We have played a major role in advocating for human rights legislation, police accountability reform, access-to-information and privacy legislation, while also resisting the more draconian anti-terrorism provisions. Litigation: When all else fails, the BCCLA will challenge laws in the courts. We have always fought to preserve freedom of expression in Canada through strategic litigation, such as opposing book bans. YW Boston's mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. As the first YWCA in the nation, YW Boston has been at the forefront of advancing equity for over 150 years. Through our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Services, advocacy work, girls leadership program, community partnerships, and events, we help individuals and organizations change policies, practices, attitudes, and behaviors with the goal of creating more inclusive environments. YW Boston focused on lasting, systemic change so that women, people of color, and especially women of color can succeed.

Children: Fondation Lazare offers children the opportunity to get an education, adequate healthcare and nutritious food. Women: We work with women in their communities in order to help them meet their own needs and those of their families as it pertains to shelter, clothing, food, etc. Skills development: Fondation Lazare provides training in ereas such as trades and agriculture in order to help the impoverished gain employment.

To provide dynamic leadership for implementing what we see as universal values founded on fundamental Islamic values by contributing to the alleviation of poverty and securing better socio-economic life for the disadvantaged groups through empowering them to depend on themselves and participate in the decisions concerning their own problems. These values are echoed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other United Nations human rights instruments. The freedoms and responsibilities inherent in them lead directly to tolerance, pluralism, gender equality, public dialogue and non-violence to settle disputes, respect for all people regardless of differing characteristics – all part of what we call “Canadian values”.

Poverty alleviation for Orphans and Vulnerable Children remains the key priority action area for Ainembabazi as an organization. Poverty however is more than just increasing income for community members. Fundamentally poverty is about lack of choice – when it comes to education, food, health and other basic human needs and rights. This lack of choice in basic human rights contributes to a lack of hope for the future. It leaves people in basic survival mode and in a vicious cycle of poverty. The programming of Ainembabazi is thus focused on the three critical priority areas of income generation, health and education as the fundamental holistic components to promoting healthy individuals and communities with a choice for their future. Ainembabazi is about creating and supporting those choices and opportunities.

Givat Haviva strengthens civil society, tolerance and co-existence in Israel through dialogue and art programs, education for peace and democracy, and research into the Holocaust.
