The National Theatre School is one of the few arts training establishments in the world that unites all the theatre arts under one roof. Established in 1960 and situated in Montreal, it offers, in both English and French, professional training in Acting, Playwriting, Directing, Set and Costume Design and Production. NTS alumni have a profound influence on the theatre scene and on other live and digital art forms such as opera, dance, circus, film, and television, here and abroad.

The Orillia Museum of Art & History strives to showcase the best of Orillia and Lake Country’s culture and history through local and nationally significant exhibitions. OMAH’s Board and volunteers have recently completed a $1.1 million dollar renovation of the historic Sir Sam Steele Art Memorial Building after a very successful fund-raising campaign (Phase I). Phase II construction will concentrate on finishing the second floor for administration and research space and installing an elevator to make the museum completely wheelchair accessible. OMAH offers art and history education programs for all ages and supports local artists and artisans through representation in the gallery and teaching opportunities. The museum delivers creative, curriculum-based, hands-on education programs for students at the museum or in the classroom. OMAH is honored to have as its honorary patron, the Hon. James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
The Centre is a community-based resource providing individuals with access to equipment, by offering short-term equipment loans. This program assists those of all ages and their service providers to assess the everyday usefulness of a communication device by trying it, for a ten-week period. The centre also provides training and consultation to increase the knowledge and awareness of this technology. OARC relies on donations from Individuals, Corporations and Foundations for the purchase and maintenance of the devices in the Equipment Loan Program. 100% of your gift supports the Loan Program. The Three Hills Arts Academy Society is a non-profit community arts organization, with charity status, that concentrates on education in piano, strings, music theory and history, the visual arts and drama, as well as performance through recitals, concerts and community theatre. Our motto is "to create and grow together", which we seek to do through excellence and enjoyment. We were incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act in 1994 and having been serving Three Hills and surrounding area for eighteen years.
We are dedicated to helping people of all abilities discover creative ways of playing and learning together. By bringing people of all abilities together to engage in creative play, all participants grow in beautiful, unpredictable ways that lead to healthier, more inclusive community and school life. We empower people to live, learn and act more inclusively and creatively.
We provide a recreational and educational continuing education day program in English to severely physically-disabled adults. We offer our clients a wide range of activities. These programs include math, science, arts & crafts, music, current events, baking, meditation, poetry, drama, photography, film making, personal goals, history and culture. We also have outings once a week. Due to our high client-to-staff ratio we are able to offer individual help with activities, which allows our clients to participate to the fullest of their abilities. Our activities are adapted to suit our clients needs, and the programs are ever changing depending on the desires and interests of the participants. Our staff are available to help the clients with individual problems or concerns on a one-to-one basis. On a group level, we are working with the clients to improve communication and life skills. The Friends of the Tay Watershed (FoTW) is a non-profit association, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the health of the Tay River Watershed. It was founded and obtained incorporated non-profit charitable status in 2001. The Tay is a magnificent tributary of the Rideau Canal system in eastern Ontario, covering 95 kilometers and encompassing 46 lakes and numerous streams and wetlands. The FoTW involves landowners, water users, and other interested parties in programs to improve the health of the Tay River Watershed. It works to: 1. educate the public and watershed stakeholders on the benefits of maintaining and improving wildlife habitat, recreation, and water quality and quantity in the Tay Watershed; 2. carry forward the recommendations of the Tay River Watershed Management Plan; 3. promote the coordination of water protection and improvement activities from the range of organizations involved in watershed management. PACS is a service organisation established in 1984 for Christian Schools in the Canadian prairies. We are a Community of 15 Christian school societies in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba which represents 5,285 students. We provide leadership and support services for our member school societies in the areas of curriculum and school development.
