The Centro Hispano Marista offers GED® preparation classes for young, Hispanic adults to obtain their GED® Certification. This will enable them to pursue higher education and to obtain better jobs.

Every Child, Inc. was started 18 years ago in response to a need in the community. Children were starting school without the necessary supplies, thereby hampering their ability to succeed. The first year Every Child, Inc. distributed a new backpack filled with school supplies for every child living in the Sarasota Housing projects. Since that time, thousands of backpacks have been handed out, with the hopes that these children will do better in school. For 16 years, Every Child, Inc. has given out thousands of new books to children to keep, with the hopes of encouraging them to read. Every Child, Inc. has been concerned about child hunger, distributing bags of groceries to families for the weekend. Every Child, Inc. has worked with many local agencies to help make sure that children get what they need to succeed in school and become healthy, responsible adults.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus is committed to excellence in musical performance and education. The Ragazzi experience instills self-confidence, cooperation, leadership, sensitivity and tenacity, helping our boys develop into young men of character and distinction. Ragazzi serves our boys and the community by performing a diverse selection of choral works to the highest artistic standards.

Stagebridge enriches the lives of older adults and their communities through the performing arts. We accomplish this with nationally recognized and award-winning creative aging programs that offer older adults opportunities for lifelong learning and participation in the performing arts. Stagebridge’s unique position as a theatre company “for, by and of” seniors demonstrates in action the many ways in which elders improve and enrich our culture and our communities.
