The Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach is an active, vibrant Modern Orthodox synagogue, in beautiful and centrally located Atlantic Beach. We are part of the dynamic and growing community on the South Shore of Long Island. The JCAB, which is the only house of worship in the village of Atlantic Beach, provides a full roster of year round morning and evening minyanim, Shiurim, Scholars in Residence, youth programs, and social events.

Neighborhood House Nursery School is operated by the Neighborhood Association, a non-profit, community-based organization. Opened in 1920 and located in a charming Victorian house just one block from Taylor Park, the NHNS provides a home away from home environment where children learn to love the process of learning and discovery. NHNS also creates a unique opportunity to connect learning to our natural environment with the use of our garden area. The pre-school program is open to children of parents who live or work in Millburn/Short Hills and the surrounding communities. Our staff works diligently to prepare each child for the transition to elementary school through fostering confidence, self-awareness and the ability to connect all learning to the world in which we live.

The mission of the Community Nursery School of Wilton (CNSW) is to prepare each child to lead a resourceful, resilient and responsible life within a supportive community teachers and families. Begun in 1938, Community provides a nurturing environment that incorporates playful learning in the development of the life skills children need to become successful individuals and to generate meaningful friendships. For each child, we encourage a spirit of free inquiry, a rich and creative imagination, and compassion for others; enabling students to understand, respect and navigate the world.

The Children’s Corner is an eclectic preschool whose mission is to nurture student growth through creative learning in a loving, safe environment. Founded in 2004, our school is a parent driven non-profit focused on providing high quality education to families at an affordable cost.

Our Preschool and Kindergarten programs provide children the opportunity to learn through play and through the arts, which nurtures their intellectual and their creative development. Our exceptional staff works to build trusting relationships with every child; It is through these early relationships that children learn to think, understand, communicate, express emotions, and to develop their social skills. The COVID-19 Student Resource Food Fund sends funds to No Kid Hungry to help provide necessary nutrition as students lose access to meals. With many schools closing during the coronavirus outbreak, children may lose access to critical meals. No Kid Hungry is advocating for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide flexibility in how kids access meals during this time and for Congress to make sure SNAP is maximized for struggling families.
