We are a community of people inspired to preserve, protect and restore our world-renowned mountain environment. We advocate strong, enforceable protections for our mountain, for clean air and water, for healthy forests and wildlife habitat. We support a community informed and engaged with the issues and ready to act. We expect leaders and decision makers to learn, understand and act appropriately for citizens and the land, above the influence of outside and exploitive interests. Collaborating with like-minded groups within and beyond our area, we support the best science-based practices for managing resources. We tell the compelling natural and cultural story of our mountain, as we invite and activate people to appreciate and explore it.

Through our annual "Denver Digs Trees" program, we distribute and plant more than 1,000 public trees each spring. Many of these trees are planted in Denver's most underserved neighborhoods. Our volunteer "Community Forester" program trains citizens to act as stewards over Denver's urban forest. The Park People manages Denver's Gates Tennis Center -- one of the country's premier public tennis facilities. We also raise private funds for public park projects, including building renovation, landscape projects, and historic preservation of park structures.

Washington Trails Association mobilizes hikers and everyone who loves the outdoors to explore, steward and champion trails and public lands.

The Continental Divide Trail Coalition's mission is to complete, protect, and elevate the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.

The Idaho Conservation League works to protect Idaho's environment by protecting the air you breathe, the water you drink and the land you love.We know that the values we hold are shared by many Idahoans, so we work diligently to be Idaho's leading voice for conservation. ICL's goal is to create an informed and engaged conservation majority in Idaho. By building a robust conservation community, we hope to influence local, state and federal policies to ensure adequate protections for clean water, clean air, healthy families and Idaho's unique way of life.

The mission of Long Live the Kings is to restore wild salmon and steelhead and support sustainable fishing in the Pacific Northwest.

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

AVSA was organized to stimulate widespread interest in the propagation and culture of African violets, to promote ways and means for the distribution of all varieties and species, and to gather and publish reliable and practical information concerning the culture and propagation of the African violet. AVSA is the International Cultivar Registration Authority for the genus Saintpaulia. Information about AVSA’s many publications, services and activities is available in the African Violet Magazine, from the AVSA Office, and from the official website (www.avsa.org). The African Violet Society of America, Inc. (AVSA) was organized on November 8, 1946, and incorporated on June 30, 1947. The African Violet Society of America Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Harpeth Conservancy is a science-based conservation organization whose mission is to restore and protect clean water and healthy ecosystems for rivers in Tennessee. Our rivers, including the Harpeth, are part of the unique river systems of the Southeast, which contain some of the greatest variety of aquatic life in the world. Harpeth Conservancy protects these vital resources by employing scientific expertise and collaborative relationships to develop, promote and support broad community stewardship and action.
