SDWF is a registered charitable organization. To reaffirm and promote all people's right to safe drinking water. With a focus on developing partnerships with rural communities throughout Canada and around the world, we intend to effect change at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels as well as within civil society and industries involved in the protection and production of public water supplies. We will deliver high quality, hands-on educational programs to thousands of classrooms in order to educate students, the leaders of tomorrow, about drinking water quality issues and solutions.

More than 100 million children worldwide do not have the opportunity to attend school. SCW Canada believes that no child should be denied the right to attend school and receive a meaningful education. Education is the single most powerful weapon in the fight against poverty. SCW empowers children in developing countries through the provision of new school facilities, educational opportunities and a safe, healthy and secure learning environment. The Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund was created to assist Canadians by providing financial assistance for educational and training opportunities in vocal music performance, vocal music leadership, vocal music administration and vocal music composition, arrangement, adjudication and staging. The intent is to provide funding for learning opportunities for Canadian men and women, particularly children and youth to gain expertise and experience in the field of a cappella vocal music harmony singing in quartets and choruses. Sing Canada Harmony is the official charity of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) in Canada; is endorsed and supported by Harmony, Inc. and is supported by members and Chapters of Sweet Adelines International. Since 1984, the Montreal Assault Prevention Centre, a non-profit organization and a registered charity, has been offering an array of workshops on assault prevention to groups particularly vulnerable to assault - children, adolescents, women of all ages and people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. All our programs focus on developing skills and resources to help people face difficult and dangerous situations.

Our mission is to support public education in the Portland area by providing free school supplies to students in need. We do this because we believe that every child deserves school supplies and has the right to a quality education regardless of their family’s income or racial/ethnic identity. Our ultimate goal is to level the playing field so every child has access to the tools that allow them to achieve academic success and feel confident. The program delivery model achieves additional goals through community engagement and by keeping supplies out of the waste stream.

Great Old Broads for Wilderness is a national organization that engages and ignites the activism of elders to preserve and protect wilderness and wild lands. Conceived by older women who love wilderness, Broads gives voice to the millions of older Americans who want to protect their public lands as wilderness for this and future generations. The BARKA Foundation's mission is to serve as a catalyst for achieving the SDGs in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Our methodology is community-led, grassroots and combines indigenous and modern technologies to develop a set of best practices in areas of clean water accessibility, sanitation, irrigation, sustainable agriculture, women's empowerment, education, healthcare, and renewable energy. The Pacific Post Partum Support Society (PPPSS) offers support to women and their families who are experiencing postpartum depression and/or anxiety (PPD/A), as well as to women who are pregnant and experiencing emotional distress. The Society's support program is based on a self-help/mutual aid model. Trained group facilitators and telephone volunteers support mothers attending PPPSS groups throughout the Lower Mainland of BC, and during public phone hours staff provide helpful information and understanding support to callers (Tel. 604-255-7999). PPPSS also offers information nights for partners; interactive talks at mother and baby groups; workshops, lectures and training programs for interested groups and professionals; and free information in print. Publications for sale dealing with PPD/A include "A Self-Help Guide for Mothers", "Un guide pratique pour les méres", "A Reference Manual for Group Facilitators", and "A Reference Manual for Telephone Support Volunteers".

Serving Eastern Ontario since 1933, St. Mary's Home is a social service agency in Ottawa that provides a full range of programs and services for young pregnant women, young moms and dads, and their infants and young children. Goals for teen parents include: having a healthy pregnancy and birth; becoming effective parents with happy, healthy child; continuing education.
