Through the missionary spirit created by the Holy Childhood Association, younger members of the Church become committed to assist and be of service to those in need. Through "Children helping Children" thousands of Canadian Catholic children share their resources with children in mission lands. All Canadians can encourage our children through their financial generosity to support mission children throughout our world.
The North American Native Plant Society is a volunteer-operated registered charitable organization concerned with preserving native plant habitat in wild areas and restoring indigenous flora to developed areas. It is our belief that nature belongs in urban, suburban, and rural areas as much as in remote areas. To that end, we host a variety of seminars and workshops, provide a seed exchange, operate Canada’s largest native plant sale each May, publish a quarterly newsletter and e-newsletter, provide a forum for people interested in learning more about native plants and manage two conservation properties in Ontario.

The Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (C.A.F.E.) is a charitable organization that represents Canadian festivals, rural fairs, urban exhibitions, agricultural societies, provincial associations, industry service providers, affiliate associations, and government departments with a direct interest in the fair and event industry. C.A.F.E. provides leadership in the growth and development of the Canadian fair and event industry and delivers programs and services that benefit members for their long-term success.
For over 30 years, the Adoptive Families Association of BC has promoted adoption and provided support and education to both children and families. Our province-wide family services help people considering adoption, those who have already adopted, and children and teens who are considering adoption. We are dedicated to finding a family for every child.
The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) helps individuals and organizations to connect across cultures. We provide information, support and tools to help immigrants reach their goals. By engaging people through networks, education and arts programming we create a welcoming community. ICA offers services for newcomers, including settlement and integration counseling, translation and interpretation, English classes, mentoring, volunteer matching and peer support. We also provide outreach and education in the community through arts programming, as well as workshops on anti-racism, multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration and human rights.
