FESA focuses on learners with the lowest levels of literacy and education. We partner with over 35 social agencies and organizations that host our programs and invite clients to our free educational sessions. We are able to target vulnerable learners facing challenges that include poverty, family violence, low-literacy, single-parenting, lack of English skills, lack of support systems, unemployment, learning disabilities, and addictions. We specialize in building confidence and overcoming barriers that prevent people from moving forward with their education. Our programs: -are adapted to reflect cross-cultural approaches and are culturally sensitive, -build parents’ literacy and learning, -help parents gain strategies to build their children’s reading and writing skills, -prepare children for school.

WEFI accepts donations from those interested in furthering excellence in education at WRDSB. The goal of WEFI is to build accounts to support projects that benefit the whole system or groups of schools within the Waterloo Region District School Board. The Foundation’s objectives focus on providing funding for the following: > to provide nutrition programs for hungry children; > to help re-integrate alienated, at-risk youth into the regular school system; > to provide classroom enhancements; > to encourage best practice initiatives for staff and students.

Education without Borders (EWB) is a Canadian non-profit Foundation created in 2002. It obtained its charitable status in March 2003. The mandate of this Foundation is to foster educational opportunities and provide educational facilities in less privileged regions of the world

Vida Verde Nature Education promotes educational equity by providing free, overnight, environmental learning experiences for students who don’t otherwise get the opportunity

Pathways to Education Canada is a charitable organization that helps youth in low-income communities graduate from high school and successfully transition into post-secondary education or training. Pathways to Education addresses systemic barriers to education by providing leadership, expertise and a community-based program proven to lower dropout rates. Founded in 2001, Pathways operates in 12 communities across Canada, with programs in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Manitoba.

The mission of Nahant Marsh Education Center is to protect, enhance, and restore the Marsh through education, research, and conservation. Our vision is to foster wonder, appreciation, and stewardship of the natural world.

The mission of the Mamakating Environmental Education Center (MEEC) is to support environmental education and stewardship and an appreciation for local history. In an effort to inspire current and future generations, MEEC will foster environmental awareness and responsible action through hands-on exploration and adventure.

We seek to accomplish our mission by delivering a broad range of high-quality educational and interpretive programs, such as interpretive walks, seminar series, school programs, and slideshows focused on the natural environment, cultures, and communities of the Clayoquot and Barkley Sound region. We also bring outside educators and experts to our region for programs and presentations. We work with a broad range of public, private and community institutions and agencies, both within and beyond the region, in order to establish and maintain a high-caliber education and interpretive network and to reflect a wide range of perspectives in all educational and interpretive activities.

Citizens’ Climate Education empowers individuals to educate elected officials, community leaders, and the general public about climate change and climate change solutions. Our consistently respectful, non-partisan approach to climate education is designed to create a broad, sustainable foundation for climate action across all geographic regions and political inclinations. By building upon shared values rather than partisan divides, and empowering our supporters to work in keeping with the concerns of their local communities, we work towards the adoption of fair, effective, and sustainable climate change solutions.
