AMERICAN FRIENDS OF RABIN MEDICAL CENTER PROVIDES RESOURCES TO RABIN MEDICAL CENTER IN ORDER TO FURTHER THEIR EXEMPT PURPOSE. THESE RESOURCES ARE USED TO SUPPORT MEDICAL EXCHANGE FELLOWS,SPECIAL PROJECTS, RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY.

Yahad-In Unum (“together in One” in Hebrew and Latin) is a Paris-based organization established in 2004 by Father Patrick Desbois and dedicated to systematically identifying and documenting sites of Jewish mass executions by Nazi mobile-killing units in Eastern Europe and Lithuania during World War II. The objective of this work is to: (1) substantiate a “Holocaust by Bullets,” in addition to those Jews murdered in Nazi concentration camps, (2) give proper respect to the victims’ burial places by identifying their locations, (3) provide evidence of such mass executions to answer the Holocaust deniers of today and tomorrow, and (4) apply the lessons learned to combat contemporary anti-Semitism and genocidal violence.

Latet (To Give) was established in order to reduce poverty, for a better and just society, by providing assistance to needy populations, mobilizing Israeli civil society towards mutual responsibility, and leading change in the national priorities.

Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.

AFEDJ is an independent, non-political organization whichworks with the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and its teaching and healing institutions. The American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem raises funds to support hospitals, schools and institutes for the physically and mentally disabled in Jordan, Palestine, Israel and Lebanon.We provide financial support to hospitals and schools that serve persons of all religious, economic and ethnic backgrounds.

Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington (PPMW) mission is to provide high-quality reproductive health care, to promote healthy sexuality and to protect the right to make those decisions. PPMW provides affordable, confidential reproductive health care including life-saving cancer screenings such as pap smears and breast exams, family planning, counseling, and testing services at our community health centers, as well teen pregnancy prevention and other community education programs throughout the D.C. metropolitan area. For the majority of our patients, most of whom are low-income, PPMW fulfils a fundamental need for affordable, accessible reproductive health care and birth control information, particularly among low-income teens, immigrants and other insured and underinsured area residents. PPMW serves more over 40,000 patients at five community health centers throughout the metro region, offering a wide range of family planning and reproductive health services. To encourage and facilitate increased use of our medical and family planning services, PPMW conducts community education and outreach (in both Spanish and English), in order to give individuals the tools they need to make responsible decisions about sexuality, birth control and pregnancy prevention. PPMW also provides training programs for parents, school nurses, teachers, clergy, religious lay leaders and other adults working with youth. These programs are designed to help adults communicate with teens on subjects related to sexuality, sexually transmitted infections and prevention of unintended pregnancies.
