THE PATRICK BEAUREGARD FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BEATING COLORECTAL CANCER, PARTICULARLY AMONG YOUNG ADULTS UNDER THE AGE OF 50.

The Jordana Lokash Foundation was established by the family and friends of Jordana Lokash, who died in a car accident in March 1991. Jordana was a gymnast, majoring in Phys. Ed. at the time of her death. She was a camping enthusiast, who loved to work with children and aspired to use sport and physical activity to help others. The Foundation provides financial assistance for sport and health related programs that meet its approved objectives.

The Cute Syndrome Foundation raises awareness of SCN8A mutations, funds the dedicated and talented scientists researching SCN8A, and supports the families around the world who are affected by this disorder.

Inspired by late Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell, the mission of The Nowell Family Foundation is to support individuals affected by substance use disorder and to prevent overdose deaths through harm-reduction efforts.

The Touching Tiny Lives Foundation strives for the healthy development of all children in Lesotho, and envisions accessible health and social services that enable families and communities to care for children affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation was established on April 1, 2000 as a result of the merger of the foundations of the Civic and General Hospital. We work closely with our partners, including health care professionals, researchers, donors and volunteers, to encourage the community to support The Ottawa Hospital (Civic, General and Riverside campuses). As one of the largest teaching hospitals in Canada, The Ottawa Hospital provides comprehensive, high quality, patient-focused health care services for more than 1.5 million residents of eastern Ontario.

The Garth Homer Foundation raises funds to support the diverse and individualized programming needs of adults with developmental disabilities. The programs must reflect the principles of self-sufficiency, active participation and inclusion of individuals in reaching their economic and social potential. The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Garth Homer Society which has been serving the needs of adults with developmental disabilities in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada since 1977. Since our founding in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has saved and improved lives. We empower people to take a proactive approach to daily sun protection and the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.

With a vision to improve the quality of life for those living with autism, the Sinneave Family Foundation was created in 2008 as a result of a generous gift from Albertans Jim and Marion Sinneave, and serves today as a hub of expertise in autism interventions, education and research. The Foundation brings together families dealing with the day-to-day reality of autism and internationally recognized autism scholars, professionals and various levels of government, with a goal of increasing access to a more consistent and improved standard of care for people of all ages living with autism. Considered rare only a decade ago, autism now affects one in every 150 babies born in Canada and is growing at a greater rate than any other developmental disability. Together with its partners, the Sinneave Family Foundation is committed to making progress on these issues and others, and to meeting its goal of improving the quality of life for those living with autism.

The Global Gastroschisis Foundation is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes awareness of gastroschisis, supports families affected by the condition (including emotional and financial assistance), and collaborates with clinicians to support and fund research into causes and treatments.

The Mission of the Inside the Outdoors Foundation is to provide financial, educational, and advisory support to the Inside the Outdoors Science Study Programs. Inside the Outdoors programs empower students, teachers, parents and the community through hands-on educational experiences in the natural world to expand their knowledge, understanding and stewardship of the environment.

The DEA Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization established in 2001 whose goal is to educate the public on the many costs and consequences of illegal drugs in our society. The Foundation work supports the DEA Museum, traveling exhibit and community outreach projects, conducts educational programs and symposia, works with international partners on prevention efforts and manages youth after-school programming in over 50 cities across the United States to provide children positive and healthy alternatives to drug abuse. The DEAEF Board of Directors is comprised of a mix of corporate executives, former government leaders, scientists and philanthropists who are committed to helping America learn about the history of drug abuse.
