The organization is committed to building recreational and commuter routes on which both locals and visitors can participate in the healthy activities of hiking, biking, snow shoeing or cross country skiing for fun or to get to work, school or shopping. With almost 200 km of routes winding their way throughout the City, there's something for everyone. Whether you're a cyclist trying to get from A to B as quickly as possible, a bird watcher looking for that elusive avian specimen, or simply looking for a quiet place to relax, there's a trail for you. REACH is a community health centre that has been located on the east side of Vancouver since 1969. We became incorporated as a non-profit society in 1970 with a Board of Directors comprised primarily of community members and patients of the clinic. Since its inception, REACH has endeavored to meet the medical, dental, and cultural needs of the community with an emphasis on prevention and the development of programs which reflect the ongoing needs of the ever changing composition of the community. We are committed to reducing health inequities. The community of which REACH is a part is a richly diversified ethnic setting in the area known as Grandview Woodlands. REACH has a strong commitment to community development and works to build a collaborative relationship with users of the clinic. There is an equally strong commitment on behalf of the staff to illustrate an openness and acceptance of the ethnic, cultural and social diversity which is found in our community.

L.I.F.E. Recovery is an acronym for ‘Living In Freedom Everyday’. This facility begins by looking at the causes – the roots – of addiction: the heart. It begins with the understanding that addicts are caught in the grip of an overwhelming compulsion and that only with God’s power and their own will can they be set free. Life Recovery, a charitable, non-denominational, women only facility, takes a positive and holistic approach to overcoming an array of addictions. As a registered charity, the organization depends heavily on sponsorships and donations to carry out its programs. By means of recognized programs, such as Alcoholics- and Narcotics Anonymous, as well as, a comprehensive Life Skills program and intense group and one-on-one Christian counseling, L.I.F.E Recovery hopes to rehabilitate the whole person – spirit, soul and body.

We are a small group of inspired individuals who believe in the power of motivation and courage. We believe that even a smallest support can significantly transform someone else’s future. We are focusing our charitable effort on providing help to orphaned children.

The Alzheimer’s Research Organization is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the caregivers of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
