The Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta is a collaborative partner with community agencies/ organizations in advocating on behalf of individuals with cerebral palsy. We are a leader in delivering programs and services, educating and providing information on treatment and resources relating to cerebral palsy in the province of Alberta.

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association is the national voice for hospice palliative care in Canada. It is a national charitable non-profit association whose mission is to provide leadership in hospice palliative care in Canada. We strive to achieve this mission by supporting research, promoting education and training, improving public awareness of hospice palliative care, and by advocating for increased programs and services. CHPCA works in close partnership with other national organizations and will continue to move forward with the goal of ensuring that all Canadians, regardless of where they may live, have equal access to quality hospice palliative care for themselves and their family.

The mission of the New Jersey Rett Syndrome Association is to contribute towards an improved quality of life for girls and women affected by Rett syndrome. We beleive that by raising awareness, we can foster public attitudes conducive to early intervention, treatment, support and research of Rett syndrome.

The FarmSafe Foundation is a registered Canadian charity supporting the educational initiatives of the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association. Your donation with help prevent injuries one child at a time through Safety Days. It will also help farmers manage safety risks through safety training and tools.

The Brain Injury Association Sudbury & District is a volunteer, community based organization dedicated to providing survivor support, developing injury prevention programs and providing educational activities and information dissemination about acquired brain injuries. BIASD is an incorporated, registered, non-profit agency, established in 1995.

Our vision is that athlete members of CCPSA will have access to and be encouraged to participate in quality sporting activities for the development of athletic potential; CCPSA will operate in harmony with our provincial associations and other partners, advocating sport development, athlete recruitment and talent identification; CCPSA will be a volunteer driven organization capable of fully funding CCPSA programs with dependable and noble sources of revenue.

The league was founded in 1980 and has been operating for 28 years. We are an all ages program for ages 13 and up and serve many different disabilities, although the majority of our players have either Cerebral Palsy (39%) or Muscular Dystrophy (29%). Probably the most important attribute of our league, however, is its “enabling” quality. Even the most severely disabled person can compete and contribute, in a positive and recognized way, to the success of their team. Hockey unlike almost any other sport, lends itself to this unique attribute. For many, they can experience for the first time the feeling of being a valuable and contributing member of a team. Many parents have expressed gratitude, and shared with us, the important role that our hockey program has played in their lives. In many cases they have indicated a marked improvement in their child’s self esteem, enthusiasm, and feeling of self worth.

Nova Scotia-Gambia Association is a non-profit organization developed and supported by Nova Scotians working together with Canadians and Gambians for the welfare of youth in West Africa. NSGA is delivering nation-wide school-based peer health educaion programs focusing on healthy relationships, HIV/AIDS prevention, and other diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis. In the last four years, NSGA's programs have reached more than 100,000 students in over 200 schools; and, as well, 1,000 villages throughout The Gambia.

Our mission is to reduce or eliminate the daily living challenges imposed upon people by blindness or visual impairment.

To discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.

NFTRA has been operating in Maple Ridge since the late 70's. We offer 3 ten to twelve week riding sessions per year to disabled adults and children. We have between 80-90 riders in our program each week. Our program relies on the assistance of over 80 volunteers per week. We currently have 5 riding instructors and 8 equine therapists (Horses). Almost all our funding is through the generosity of groups and individuals who sponsor our horses and donate to our program generally.

To lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig's disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.
