Queens Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous is an organization formed to serve all A.A. groups in Queens County whether they contribute to its support or not.

Our main purpose is to educate our families about the hazards of heroin and other drug abuse, so we guide our children to take a path, which is free of devastation, incarceration and death; to help those who may be struggling with addiction, to lift them to a place of recovery and peace. This will only be accomplished by working together with our government leaders, the media, social networking sites, and utilizing all available resources. We can be a role model for others in our country to follow, as we stand united, as a community, to say……Not One More overdose.Not One More lost spirit.Not one more grieving heart.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTER OF NEW ENGLAND WILL BE TO ALLEVIATE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL ANGUISH OF DRUG ADDICTION AS EXPERIENCED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, THE FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY BY USING ALL AVAILABLE MODALITIES INCLUDING PREVENTION, DRUG-FREE AND DRUG-SUPPORTED RECOVERY AS DEFINED BY THE TREATER AND THE TREATED.

Support nurses in promoting planetary health and equity globally by educating and leading the nursing profession, advancing research, incorporating planet-safe practice, and influencing policy.

Build strong recovery communities, eliminate barriers to recovery supportive housing and promote best practice standards for New Hampshire alcohol and drug free homes. NHCORR is the New Hampshire affiliate of the National Alliance of Recovery Residence (NARR).

The mission of RCM is to meet spiritual, physical, and relational needs, build capacity in individuals and families to address their own needs, and to develop a sense of community in the inner-city areas of LR and North Little Rock

To introduce low-cost compost toilets in order to reduce disease and provide dignity for people living without basic sanitation To reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers by producing organic compost products that can improve soil and improve food security To teach people how to compost organic wastes and protect water resources To promote EcoSan and composting as viable solutions to water-based sanitation systems
