One Life Counseling Center provides counseling and wellness programs to individuals, schools and the community. Calls are returned in 24 hours, clients are seen within 1 week, and every budget is accommodated. We believe there should be no barriers to treatment.

Pact is a different kind of adoption organization—honest, child-centered, and anti-racist. Since 1991, Pact’s mission has always been to serve adopted children of color. In every case, the child is always our primary client. In order to best serve children’s needs, we provide not only adoptive placement but lifelong education, support, and community. Our goal is for every child to feel wanted, honored and loved, a cherished member of their communities with proud connections to their cultural heritage. We advocate for honesty and authenticity in matters of race and adoption.

Nami DC is the state chapter of the national alliance on mental illness. As a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, Nami DC has supported individuals and their families impacted by serious mental health conditions since its founding in 1981. Through education (including Nami signature classes such as family-to-family, Samsha best practice since 2013), advocacy and support, Nami DC has expanded its support to specifically focus on health and wellness of youth (with significant emphasis on early identification and intervention), service members (regardless of duty status) and their families.
