AIM was founded in 1983, because the founder suffered from unrelenting panic attacks, and had suffered for 20 years with no one to help. She wanted to help other individuals with the same problem. The first group had 20 people, but soon grew to 10 groups, both in and out of state. Recovery is not a secret, and using behavioral and cognitive tools seems to be the answer. We provide a hot line, field trips and literature. Our goal is help anxious individuals and provide help and support, while educating the public. Also, in this way, our hope is to destigmatize this condition.

One Life Counseling Center provides counseling and wellness programs to individuals, schools and the community. Calls are returned in 24 hours, clients are seen within 1 week, and every budget is accommodated. We believe there should be no barriers to treatment.

Mental Health America of the Heartland is dedicated to promoting the mental health of the community, and improving the quality of life of persons with mental illness, through advocacy, education and support.

Ahimsa House is Georgia's first and only nonprofit solely dedicated to addressing the link between domestic violence and animal cruelty. We assist victims of domestic violence and their pets reach safety together.

Pact is a different kind of adoption organization—honest, child-centered, and anti-racist. Since 1991, Pact’s mission has always been to serve adopted children of color. In every case, the child is always our primary client. In order to best serve children’s needs, we provide not only adoptive placement but lifelong education, support, and community. The Samaritan Center believes that there is a vital relationship between the body, mind, spirit and community in which an individual resides and that optimal health can best be achieved by addressing needs in all four areas.
