The Peace Alliance empowers civic engagement toward a culture of peace. We are an alliance of organizers and advocates throughout the United States taking the work of peacebuilding from the margins of society into the centers of national discourse and policy priorities. Our network includes volunteer grassroots teams in cities, towns, colleges and high school campuses across the nation.

Foster Kids Charity Inc strives to make sure that every child in the Texas foster care system has their basic clothing and personal hygiene needs met. This is accomplished by providing abused and foster children in Texas with emergency basic items: food, clothes, school supplies. Foster Kids Charity also host graduation for foster youth, christmas parties and other fun event for foster children.

Creating a world where no woman or girl is ever bought or sold. The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW) is one of the oldest international organizations working to end the trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and girls. Through an approach rooted in women’s rights and human rights principles, we advocate for strong laws and policies, raise public awareness and support survivor leadership.

The China California Heart Watch brings together experts from the United States, China, and around the world. Together, we use innovative and sustainable methods to combat the growing epidemic of heart disease in Yunnan Province, China. Our overarching mission is to serve the people of Yunnan through: (1) Training local healthcare professionals in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease; (2) Improving access to high-quality healthcare and life-saving treatments; (3) Researching the epidemiology of heart disease, the effectiveness of our interventions, and other topics of critical value to rural Chinese populations. The activities of the China California Heart Watch generate no profits. We operate solely through the generosity and vision of our donors, foundations, and granting agencies. Dedicated to the principle that all Americans should be able to handle their legal affairs simply, affordably and equitably, HALT pursues an aggressive education and advocacy program that challenges the legal establishment to improve access, reduce costs and to increase accountability in our civil justice system. 

The National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice and equality for LGBTQ people. We are building a future where everyone can be free to be their entire selves in every aspect of their lives. Today, despite all the progress we’ve made to end discrimination, millions of LGBTQ people face barriers in every aspect of their lives: in housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights. CASA of the Continental Divide’s Mission is to: Provide court advocacy and support in the 5th Judicial District of Colorado for abused and neglected children in pursuit of safe and permanent homes.

The mission of the Asian Women’s Shelter (AWS) is to eliminate domestic violence by promoting the social, economic and political self-determination of women and all survivors of violence and oppression. AWS is committed to every person’s right to live in a violence-free home. AWS works with all survivors and has specific expertise to address the cultural and language needs of Asian and other immigrant and refugee survivors, as well as others who face barriers to accessing existing sources of safety and support. In order to address how domestic violence is compounded for survivors and communities as it combines with sexism, classism, racism, homo/bi/transphobia, xenophobia, ableism and ageism, AWS operates through a margin-to-center anti-oppression framework that can create holistic and lasting change toward peace. This perspective is reflected in our broad strategy that integrates culturally relevant and language-accessible shelter and transitional services, training and capacity-building programs, systems and public policy work, and community mobilization initiatives and advocacy.

Assist adults, children and youth in reclaiming their right to a life free from domestic violence. SafeHouse Denver strives to: • intervene in domestic violence with services that empower adults, children and youth to live free from domestic abuse. • prevent domestic violence through education efforts that foster and support a broad movement for violence-free communities. • facilitate an interactive, collaborative community response to relationship violence that identifies victims earlier, makes victim services more accessible, and builds community awareness and accountability.

Mission Statement: The Colorado Haiti Project works in partnership with rural Haitian communities to support their rise out of extreme poverty. The Colorado Haiti Project (CHP) is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 to extend aid to the poorest of the poor in a rural area called Petit Trou de Nippes, about 80 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. CHP is supported entirely by donations from private individuals, local and national foundations, faith communities, and service organizations.
