Seeding Labs invests in exceptional scientists in developing countries who have limited resources, but limitless potential. We provide reduced-cost lab equipment and training and foster professional networks in order to enhance higher education, support vital research and create a more connected global scientific community.

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution conducts independent ocean science, engineering, and education to advance understanding of the ocean and its connections to the Earth system, and communicates that knowledge to inform decision‑making and benefit society. Its work combines research, ship/vehicle operations, technology development, and training to address climate, ecosystem, and ocean‑resource challenges.

Through radical and comprehensive outreach, we will demonstrate that space travel is indispensable to the human race, and we will help to make it relevant and accessible to all people.Our mission is to support space-related education and awareness and to promote the growth and connectivity of the space community.We will do bottom-up grassroots outreach by following these principles: To think ahead; to be relevant; and to pursue excellence.

Ocean Alliance strives to increase public awareness of the importance of whale and ocean health through research and public education. We work with our scientific partners to collect a broad spectrum of data on whales and ocean life. Ocean Alliance uses this data to advise educators, policy makers, and the general public on wise stewardship of the oceans to mitigate pollution, prevent the collapse of marine mammal populations, and promote ocean and human health. Ocean Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Organization, and was founded in 1971.

AWB's mission is to create novel international outreach programs that educate, inform and inspire. To do this, AWB offers programs that expands the minds of people of all ages, and opens up new worlds, and connects people around the globe from different cultures and societies, creating links between our wonderment of the Universe to the worlds of science, education, art and culture.

Our mission is to empower communities to strengthen languages, culture and the environment by using the internet more effectively. Our primary vehicle of engagement is a multilingual cultural wiki designed, populated, and used by the community to help the community satifsfy their evolving community needs. The BASAbali wiki has engaged by nearly 2.5 million to date. The wiki empowerment process is now being replicated in Makassar, Indonesia. BASAbali is a registered nonprofit in the US. Our goal is to inspire intelligent use of the earth's natural resources and empower individuals to become leaders in biosphere stewardship. The problem - The health of our biosphere – our life support system – is decreasing due to climate change and the needs associated with a growing human population. Our efforts are strategic - We address this global challenge by working locally with island peoples whose livelihood is most affected by sweeping ecological changes. Our projects are collaborative - We learn from individuals about their environment while empowering them to become active advocates, practitioners, and leaders in their communities.

The Global Knowledge Initiative's mission is to forge, optimize, and sustain problem-solving networks that use science, technology, and innovation to deliver transformative solutions. Three core functions underpin GKI's efforts to unleash Collaborative Innovation: locating resources, enabling sustainable partnerships by training on the tools, skills, and processes needed for Collaborative Innovation, and connecting people and resources together into durable, solution-driven networks.

JustFix.nyc is a non-profit that supports renters (currently in NYC) facing evictions and neglected housing conditions with technology that helps them build well-documented cases and connect with community and legal advocates. Our platform is comprised of two complementary tools: 1. A mobile app that assists tenants in gathering evidence, mediating with their landlord through templated communications, reporting violations to city agencies, connecting with organizers and attorneys, and presenting a "case history" in housing court (currently available at http://www.justfix.nyc/). 2. A dashboard that allows community organizers, legal aid attorneys, and other advocates to communicate with tenants and track data about buildings, landlords, and neighborhoods. It will be integrated with open datasets from a range of city and state agencies (in development). We work with neighborhood based tenant organizing groups as well as major legal service organizations and are committed to a model of community-led development in order to design, build, and distribute our services to those who need it most.

Beyond Nuclear aims to educate and activate the public about the connections between nuclear power and nuclear weapons and the need to abandon both to safeguard our future. Beyond Nuclear advocates for an energy future that is sustainable, benign and democratic. The Beyond Nuclear team works with diverse partners and allies to provide the public, government officials, and the media with the critical information necessary to move humanity toward a world beyond nuclear.
