The Reaching Out Project operates mainly in Cambodia providing opportunities for children to education. Our Mission is to improve and transform the lives of impoverished and vulnerable children in Cambodia and beyond. The core of our mission is to help and support children to continue school and reverse the phenomenon and extended trend of children drop out of school in Cambodia and Region, ensuring that children stay in school. Poverty, lack of transportation and mental health disorders are the primary reasons that children in Cambodia and the wider region permanently drop out of school. Our cause is rooted in the fundamental belief that education is the only path towards a better life, out of poverty and mental health disorders. The Reaching out Project's mission focus and helps thousands of vulnerable children and their families, and creating a pathway to escape a world of permanent poverty and forced labor, through education, enhancing living conditions, educational opportunities, and mental health support. We support Children, Schools and Communities to break this poverty cycle and improve mental health as a Global Call for Action, to succeed our cause. A safe, secure, and sustainable environment, education and child-friendly schools (as a National Call from Government) are the key factors ensuring that children stay in school and grow up sustainably. Our nonprofit organisation, established and registered in Greece, operates without intermediaries. We personally provide help and support to children, schools, and communities. We are present with our team in Cambodian communities, working hand in hand with those we serve, going door to door and standing shoulder to shoulder with families, children, and teachers to understand the real problems and find the best solutions to ensure that children attend school and do not abandon their studies due to the challenging conditions in which they live. Children in school are at the heart of our actions. Our partners in Cambodia, Europe, Canada and Asia support us in achieving this goal. When we are in Europe, we raise awareness about the situation and gather the resources needed through our supporters' network and various actions and programs for fundraising. This initiative has been supported by our supporters, partners and volunteers in Greece, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, Thailand and France who embraced our cause and aim to make this goal a reality for all the children who need support. We inform our supporters about the real problems we encounter and discuss the resources required to solve these problems. It is as simple as that. While in Cambodia, we maintain direct communication with children, teachers, families, within their communities and the Districts. We address not only daily issues but also work towards the development of a holistic plan to ensure that children can get to school and fight the poverty that is so prevalent in these communities. We invest in improving their mental and psychological health, transforming them into tomorrow's citizens who will be valuable to their country and society through education. Our Integration of Needs Innovation System Our Integration of Needs Innovation System provides us with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges at hand. This drives our efforts towards succeeding in our aim and mission, and results in significant progress in children's lives. Children in School. Our 'Shoulder to Shoulder', 'Door to Door', 'Brainery Centre Academy", and 'Grandmothers' programs are tailored to the unique characteristics of each school, community, family, and child. These programs, designed for teachers and families, could later serve as guidelines for the education sector, providing examples to other schools and communities about how to operate effectively. We invest in the 'Zero Hunger and Nutritious Food', 'Mental and Psychological Health Improvement and Skills' programs. We support data collection and analysis to assist Governments and Districts in assessing progress efforts across various outcomes and strengthening the overall education system. Our efforts promote transparency, shedding light on problems children facing in education, ensuring that students, parents, and communities have all the information they need and support to encourage children to stay in school. As The Reaching out Project we developed a system based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and work towards to succeed in our mission and objectives. We have developed a comprehensive approach called the Integration of Needs Innovation System to address and meet all the adopted 10 SDGs and achieve better and faster results for poor and vulnerable children. Our Integration of Needs Innovation System acknowledges each child's needs are unique and should be addressed under integrated process so to monitor real impact in lives of each child. This Innovation System we apply as Organisation provides us with knowledge and ways of understanding the problems in the field, assessing them and manage them, towards succeeding our mission. Our approach not only aligns with the top six sustainable Development Goals (sDGs) adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The Reaching Out Project's program goes beyond this universal call. We have established and follow a more ambitious system which utilises 10 SDGs, leading to sustainable growth, child-friendly schools, safe and secure communities with better living conditions, and an environment where children grow up free from any violence, injury, and existing current hazards to children's mental and psychological health. The Reaching out Project thinks Global and acts Local. We support all children in their own environment under sustainable growth, aiming a continuous schooling for all. The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Our programmes focus on using sport as a vehicle to improve young people's: Wellbeing: Our work develops children's fundamental movement skills, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, as well as good physical and emotional health. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.
Board of European Students of Technology is a non-profit and non-political organisation that since 1989 strives to improve communication, cooperation and exchange opportunities for European students. The mission of BEST is to help students achieve an international mindset, reach a better understanding of cultures and societies and develop the capacity to work in culturally diverse environments. To achieve this mission BEST offers high quality services to technology students all over Europe. These services include a European engineering competition, academic courses, career events and events on educational involvement. BEST offers these events in 96 European Universities, spread among 34 countries, reaching over one million students, with the help of 3300 members. It is BEST's mission to provide complementary, non-formal education in every event that it organises. This to make sure that the students that are reached grow to their full potential before they enter the job market. It is essential for BEST to show students the value of complementary education, not only to widen their perspective on the technology topics covered in their studies, but also to teach them the needed soft skills. To begin, these soft skills are covered in BEST's events by bringing students together with its two other stakeholders, universities and companies, and letting them dialog. Secondly, BEST provides specific training sessions to teach students how to acquire these skills in a safe and stimulating environment among peers. Lastly, this is done not only towards outside students, but also towards BEST's own members. By letting them organise events after they had a thorough knowledge transfer and did some in-depth training sessions, they acquire a lot of hands-on experience that makes them valued assets on the job market. In all this soft skill acquirement, there is one thing that makes BEST special: everything happens in a culturally diverse environment. BEST's volunteers really learn how to cooperate with project members from all over Europe and also the outside students are introduced to a specific mindset that BEST likes to call 'the BEST spirit'. This means that everyone works together, respecting each other's backgrounds, to achieve a common goal: empower students and give them a voice in today's society. For this donation campaign BEST would focus on the educational involvement that it stimulates among European students. It is namely very unique that an organisation run by students offers their peers a voice by collecting data in surveys and events and presenting that data to the relevant authorities. BEST, therefore, attends a lot of conferences about education to be able to share our outcomes to the fullest. We hope to raise some donations in this campaign to be able to carry out next year's planning around the theme of Digital Literacy. This theme focuses on how prepared students and universities are for the upcoming digitisation wave. It raises the question of how we will learn and teach digital skills and how industry 4.0 will make its way into our education. For this program BEST invests in conducting surveys, doing symposia on education and writing scientific papers with the purpose of disseminating the outcomes. It is not the first time that BEST is going to conduct such an Educational Involvement Programme. Last year, for example, the theme was 'Diversity in STEM education' and the years before we covered topics such as pedagogical skills, new teaching methods, relation between university and industry, etc. So what were the steps BEST undertook to create all the materials around last year's topic? First, a team was created to do research on existing literature about 'Diversity in (STEM) education'. Based on that research a survey was created in which 4 diversity types were tackled: cultural diversity, ethnic diversity, gender diversity and students with disabilities. Then, after the answers of the survey were gathered and analysed, the subtopics for the BEST Symposia on Education were identified: in this case, each symposium had a different diversity type. The same team that worked on the content creation of the symposia also prepared and delivered the sessions of those symposia. After the events, the input of all the participating students is gathered in a scientific report, which is then either published in conferences, or disseminated through social media and newsletters. The approach used last year proved to be a successful one and will be repeated in this year's Educational Involvement Programme. If we manage to get more funds via Global Giving, this will mean that we can elaborate this process and spend more resources on content creation, promotion of the surveys and dissemination of our results. In short: we will be able to make a lot more noise in the educational world.

Safe Water Sports is a non-profit organization, founded the summer of 2015, whose primary scope is the enhancement of safety standards for water related sports and recreational water activities. Safe Water Sports is purely a voluntary initiative and does not receive any funding or financial support from our government. Our vision is to ultimately make our country an example for others to emulate regarding safety requirements and proper standards through knowledge and support to individuals within the athletic industry and to businesses affiliated with recreational water activities and water sports. Our initiative, beyond aiming to improve safety and prevent potential accidents, has a distinct underlying nature of growth and development for our country's vital Industry, tourism. Safe Water Sports can develop into a key contributor to improving Greece's global image to potential travellers selecting our country for their holidays and leisure activities. Involving our citizens is of prime importance to our efforts and initiative. The general public is our central focal point, which we intend to educate, inform, and mobilize, so that each and every public or private sector agency recognizes their importance and involvement. The focus for any public or private sector organization affiliated with aquatics, whether water sports or recreational activities, should clearly revolve around the safety needs of all participants. Safe Water Sports relies heavily on collective actions of our citizens and uses the power of information and technology to promote and strengthen the predominate role of citizens within their area of activities. Safe Water Sports aims to become the central reference point for all water activities taking place in Greece. We want to give people accurate and reliable information on the water-related sports and recreational activities. In Safe Water Sports, citizens can seatch and retrieve all LICENSED watersports centers offering various water activities (e.x. sports, entertainment, diving, leisure) in our country, together with the necessary information related to the applicable laws and safety regulations.

It is Zahana's philosophy that participatory development must be based on local needs and solutions proposed by local people. Echo100Plus is a registered Austrian charity, which was founded in 2012 by a group of friends, most of them Austrians with strong ties to Greece, who were moved to take action when the scale and intensity of the growing economic and social crisis became apparent. We are providing assistance for people in precarious situations in Greece. We are focusing on arriving refugees and receiving communities. We are developing alternative models of cooperation and learning from each other in an increasing social climate of fear. Our mission is to empower and help build new perspectives for the people we support by engaging (international) volunteers thus strengthening civil society. Our emphasis is to establish 'spaces' and 'programs' to enable dialogue and equip/empower all our stakeholder and participants to self-improve their lives.
