We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.

HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community. We lessen the immediate pain of homelessness and help families become self-sufficient. We work to give our clients the skills and opportunities to ensure adequate incomes, and we work to increase the availability of adequate, affordable housing. We help homeless families advocate for themselves individually and collectively.

The mission of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is: No One Goes Hungry in Central & Eastern North Carolina. Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington. Sadly, food insecurity remains a serious problem in central and eastern North Carolina. In these counties, more than 636,920 people struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for a healthy life.

EHP provides emergency food, clothing, household essentials and case‑management/support services to families and individuals experiencing economic or personal hardship in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and nearby communities. The program focuses on meeting immediate basic needs while offering referrals and advocacy to help neighbors regain stability and independence.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

Raksha -- meaning "protection" in several South Asian languages -- is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization for the South Asian Community. Raksha's mission is to promote a stronger and healthier South Asian community through confidential support services, education, and advocacy.

Step Up is a mentorship nonprofit providing the structure for girls (and those who identify with girlhood) to define their ideal destination and get there -- wherever that destination may be. Mighty Hero Homes exist to eradicate veteran homelessness by providing affordable, permanent homes to all homeless veterans in safe environments with a full array of on-Base amenities and wraparound services. Homeless to Home Ownership is the objective for each Base resident. Because They Deserve Better! It is time to end the institution of veteran homelessness. Measurable generational change will occur in hundreds of American cities because of the infusion of healthy, hopeful, and productive American heroes in the communities where Mighty Hero Home Bases are installed. Veterans will become vital contributors in the societies that welcome, support, and embrace their residency. Mighty Hero Home Bases will provide Base residents with employment opportunities, health care and wellness services, and other amenities such as a commissary, gardens, green space, indoor and outdoor congregation areas, etc. Support from the communities where the Bases are built is mission critical. As such, Mighty Hero Homes will recruit and empower local businesses, churches, and other civic organizations to sponsor each Base resident.
