Health, happiness and hope can flourish in the hearts of hundreds of disabled Colombians who dream for a future filled with opportunities

Mission: Empowering donors to support grassroots NGOs in China At present, most grassroots NGOs lack an effective method for professional fund-raising and most Chinese official foundations provide very limited grant opportunities. The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.

To strengthen the capacity of the most disadvantaged, underserved, and vulnerable populations, especially women, children, Dalits, and people living in remote geographic areas, through learning opportunities that integrate culture, innovation, and economy for a brighter and sustainable future.

Brant United Way is a volunteer-led organization with a vision to improve the lives of people in the Brant Community. The goal of United Way is to create opportunities for a better life for everyone in our community. Changing conditions in the community requires a multi-level investment approach. Donations from our community are invested in three areas of focus;All that Kids Can be, Healthy People Strong Communities, and From Poverty to Possibility. When you give to Brant United Way, your donation is invested locally. Our goal is to focus funding in areas of the community that need change the most. Community Impact means changing social conditions and creating opportunities for a better life for individuals, families and communities. It is part of a bigger effort to build the capacity of our community to meet the complex needs and work together to create a healthy vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.

OUR MISSION: Uniting People with Opportunities. The United Planning Organization, the designated community action agency for Washington, DC, was established December 10, 1962 to plan, coordinate, and implement human services programs for low-income residents in the Nation's Capital. For over 50 years, UPO has been in the forefront of the war on poverty. As the catalyst for economic security and growth for all Washington, DC residents, UPO has laid the groundwork for innovative social service programs such as weatherization and energy conservation services, Head Start, workforce development training and youth development. Today, UPO continues to provide residents with comprehensive resources for early childhood education; youth development; employment and training; family and community services; case management and referrals to other supportive services.

One Hope United increases opportunities for children and families by providing quality solutions that enhance lives, communities and futures.

Ray United FC uses the power of education and soccer to help develop healthy kids and communities. Through community development programs and in partnership with local schools, Ray United FC refurbishes dilapidated schools and brings kids together to improve their soccer skills, promote healthy behaviors, and strengthen sportsmanship. All programs are inspired by respect, benefit, and sustainability.

Aloha United Way brings resources, organizations and people together to advance the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community

United Palestinian Appeal empowers Palestinians to improve their lives and communities through socially responsible and sustainable programs in health, education, and community and economic development.

The Churches United Pantry of Lima, Ohio, provides people with a three day supply of food on a once a month basis. It is an ecumenical partnership of 10 Lima Area churches.
