Alice for Children by Twins International ETS is an Italian NGO operating in Kenya since 2006, focusing on improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities in the slums of Nairobi and the rural area of Rombo, near the Tanzanian border. The organization collaborates with local communities to address systemic challenges, emphasizing access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment while protecting and promoting human rights in the remote and neglected areas. Key initiatives include establishing schools in underserved areas, improving infrastructure, and providing resources to foster sustainable development. In the slums of Dandora and Korogocho, where the Organization first began working in 2006, Twins International manages 1 Early Childhood Care Centre (Baby Care) and 8 schools (primary, junior secondary and secondary), together with local community-based organizations, that offer education and support to children living in extreme poverty. The slum areas, characterized by a lack of basic services such as water and sanitation, are home to families who depend on informal work like waste collection for survival. By focusing on education, the organization offers children a path out of poverty and an opportunity to achieve long-term stability. Beyond education, Twins International has implemented programs that empower families and communities through healthcare access, food assistance, and adult training initiatives.

LAMb International is committed to helping to activate and equip leaders for the purpose of creating sustainable activities in the countries in which LAMb operates. Founded by Carol Buckley in 2009, Elephant Aid International (EAI) envisions a world in which society respects elephants and provides them conditions in which they can thrive. Built on decades of experience and scientific advances, our mission is to improve the lives of elephants and the people who live and work with them. EAI collaborates with governments, municipalities, biologists, mahouts (elephant trainers), researchers, veterinarians, educators, progressive zoo professionals, and owners. SevaChild originated and manages one of India’s fastest growing humanitarian networks. We specialize in providing life-sustaining micronutrients to well over 1,000,000 children each year. Our goal is to eradicate the presence of vitamin A deficiency disorders throughout all of India by ensuring that at-risk children are supplemented with the vitamin A that is necessary to protect them from serious illness, blindness and even death. SevaChild is a 501 (c)(3) public nonprofit organization in the United States, and a Section 8 company (not for profit under the Companies Act, 2013) in India. Our international headquarters is in Los Angeles and our Indian headquarters is in Mumbai.

Basic Health International exists to eliminate cervical cancer on a global level through cutting edge research for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in low resource settings. Through research and field-work in Latin American countries, BHI is creating a scalable blueprint of sustainable strategies that can be applied in communities throughout the world to prevent, identify, and treat cervical cancer. Aligned with the World Health Organization’s mission to eliminate cervical cancer globally by 2030, BHI’s team of experts focuses on research, community education, outreach, and policy. During COVID-19 we are building laboratory infrastructure for SARS-CoV-2 testing which can later be used for the HPV testing critical to cervical cancer elimination.
