Burns Memorial Fund for Children is a charitable foundation established by Senator Patrick Burns, a Calgary pioneer and philanthropist. The Fund provides practical assistance to low-income families, as well as grants to youth-serving organizations. We support high school students to stay in school and graduate; help families with the costs of school fees, tutoring, recreation programs, eyeglasses, medications and other necessities; cover dental and orthodontic treatment for children and youth; and fund Calgary organizations focused on the health, education and recreation needs of low-income children. Our foundation works towards the following goals: • Each child is healthy, safe and has access to optimal health care • Each child is ready for school, experiences success in school and graduates • Each child has the opportunity to participate in recreational activities which help them to discover their talents and develop their full potential

Founded in 2007, The Independence Fund empowers our nation's severely wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. We improve the lives of both our Veterans and their families through The Independence Fund's Mobility, Caregiver, Adaptive Sports, and Advocacy programs, while also bridging the gap of unmet needs of veterans' caregivers. The Independence Fund works to give veterans the best mobility device options available, and as promote their mental and physical health.

Bringing Smiles to Kids Year-Round....One Toy at a Time.The Pirate Toy Fund gives out toys to children in need all year long. We primarily dedicate ourselves to focus on programs that address medical, domestic violence, and financial-need situations. We are completely donor funded.

THE ISRAEL MAGEN FUND IS AN UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN ISRAEL AND AROUND THE WORLD WITH SECURITY AND MEDICAL RESPONSE

The mission of the new Israel fund is to strengthen Israel’s democracy and to promote freedom, justice and equality for all Israel’s citizens.

This Fund will be administered by the Palmetto Project (a South Carolina non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of South Carolians). 100% of the funds donated will be used in this community to support local initiatives serving his home church, vulnerable populations and youth projects that Reverend Pinckney was so passionate about. Decisions on the use of these funds will be made a task force of stakeholders made up of a member or members of Reverend Pinckney’s family, colleagues, representatives from Emanuel AME Church and other members of our community selected for their specific expertise. 

The Black Student Fund was established in 1963 to desegregate the independent schools of metropolitan Washington, DC and make them accessible to black children, irrespective of economic status. To that end, the Fund has built a multidimensional set of programs that support its mission and influence changes within the schools and the community as a whole. In addition to providing scholarships and essential support services to low-income black children, grades K through 12, our comprehensive programs include outreach and referral services featuring an Annual School Fair; summer school programs; and, through our Institute for Equity, Race & Education, we conduct courses in cross-racial communication for school faculty and administrators.

Sudan Relief Fund is dedicated to bringing food, safe drinking water, clothing, shelter, medical attention and hope to the people of South Sudan.

Our mission is to restore dignity and enrich the lives of Syrian refugees and other vulnerable families by providing critically-needed items and supporting educational programs. The Syria Fund is a group of volunteers who care deeply about helping Syrian refugees amid this massive, ongoing crisis. We identify individuals that are underserved by large, mainstream aid organizations and provide meaningful contributions to better their lives. We focus on families and creating opportunities for a generation that has none.

The mission of the Forrest Spence Fund is to assist with the non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-South. Empathy. Understanding. Hope.

The Wounded Heroes Fund is a service organization for those Veterans and their families affected by the war on terror with a focus on facilitating a healthy transition to civilian life through support and appreciation.

The Kline Veterans Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides critical financial assistance and other support to homeless, at-risk and indigent Veteran families in Southern Nevada.
