We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Based in Phoenix, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is one of the nation's leading charities, serving children in every community in the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam. With the help of generous donors and approximately 25,000 volunteers nationwide, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish every 38 minutes, on average. Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Poor nutrition can result in a weaker immune system, increased hospitalization, lower IQ, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievement. 69% of children in America are on free or reduced meals at their schools. Blessings in a Backpack is designed to feed these kids on the weekends by sending them home on Fridays with backpacks filled with staples that require little to no preparation. Starting at just $100, Blessings in a Backpack can feed a child for an entire school year. Since 2009, Blessings in a Backpack has provided 23.5 million hunger-free weekends for more than 838,000 children nationwide.

YGB specializes in finding permanent families for young adults, teens, and pre-teens in foster care. We believe that no child should age out of the foster care system without the support and love of a family. We recruit, train, certify and license parents who are willing to make an unconditional lifetime commitment. Likewise, we commit to providing ongoing support for our families for as long as they need. To honor his legacy, Discovery Inc. established the The Willie Garson Fund at You Gotta Believe to support our work of connecting every child in foster care to a loving family that commits to being there for life. The fund directly supports our Nobody Ages Out initiative, providing the services and resources needed to ensure their profound journey to becoming a family is a success.

The Foundation's goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academic, athletic, interpersonal skills, leadership, as a mentor, and someone willing to be mentored. They hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and in their relationships with themselves and others. Their program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, and how to pursue happiness. In the end, our long-term goal is to help them become professionals in life, to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends, and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: a 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The organization also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

Direct Relief improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by mobilizing and providing essential medical resources needed for their care. Direct Relief works in all 50 U.S. states and in more than 90 countries to expand access to medicine and healthcare by equipping doctors and nurses with lifesaving medical resources.

The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The organization's vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of injured service members in our nation’s history, by CONNECTING, SERVING, and EMPOWERING the wounded men and women who so bravely volunteered to serve our nation on or after the events of September 11, 2001. They CONNECT warriors, their families, and caregivers to peers, programs, and communities to ensure they have a readily available network of support. SERVE by providing free mental and physical health and wellness programs, career and benefits counseling, and by providing ongoing support for the most severely injured. And EMPOWER warriors to live life on their own terms, mentor fellow veterans and service members, and embody the WWP logo by carrying one another on a path toward recovery. Today, more than 110,000 wounded warriors and 26,000 family support members and caregivers are registered with WWP and have access to free programs and services that CONNECT, SERVE, and EMPOWER.

An organization committed to transforming the way youth experience homelessness. We envision a world where every child can celebrate major life milestones, regardless of their financial background or living environment. Worthy of Love exists to create positive experiences and life-long memories for homeless youth and their families, by providing all-expenses-paid birthday parties to them as they navigate life's most challenging circumstances. Children and families who attend our parties are provided with meals, snacks, dessert, and a variety of exciting vendors to enjoy throughout the event. Our parties provide a safe environment for attendees and are secured and monitored by trained staff and security. Every child that attends our parties leaves with special gifts designed to inspire confidence and promote self-worth. Along with personalized birthday gifts, attendees receive school supplies, hygiene kits, and essential tools needed to thrive in day-to-day activities. Since 2013, Worthy of Love has thrown unforgettable birthday parties for over 10,000 children and teens experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County.
