Established in 1946, Jewish Family Service of Tidewater (JFS) has had a long-standing tradition of caring and concern for the community it serves. JFS is not a religious organization: we are a non-profit social services agency that serves ALL people throughout the Commonwealth. JFS provides an array of services to help meet the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. The mission of FBF is to promote good will, cross-cultural understanding and friendship between the people of the United States and Burkina Faso; to support grass-roots development projects in Burkina Faso; and to enrich lives of the citizens in both countries. Its Projects Committee serves as a vehicle to facilitate the organization's support of development activities. The mission of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) is to enhance opportunities for immigrants and refugees through legal representation for low-income individuals, and through education and advocacy with diverse communities. To fulfill our mission, ILCM has three primary goals: 1. Remedy legal problems by providing quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all nationalities; 2. Prevent legal problems by providing law-related education to immigrants and refugees, which alerts families and networks to available legal protections and rights; and 3.
