W/NP is a progressive and viable humanitarian service organization actively implementing programs in both Wisconsin and Nicaragua. W/NP's goals are to promote mutual understanding and establish lasting relationships among citizens and institutions of Wisconsin and Nicaragua; foster volunteerism and self-help attitudes through the implementation of economic and social development projects; leverage development assistance funds from public and private sources.

Since 1950, TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers has been serving children and adults with special needs in the greater Washington, DC area through diagnostic, therapeutic, educational, and employment programs that meet the growing and changing needs of our community. TLC's mission is to improve lives and expand possibilities for children and adults with special needs. TLC's vision is to be a highly visible, leading edge organization with strong collaborative and advocacy relationships, and plentiful resources that support quality programs, staff, and facilities for individuals with special needs.

Arts on the Block, a nonprofit arts organization with a nearly 20-year history in the region, is the only hands-on studio art apprenticeship program in the region offering youth and young adults the opportunity to learn about art, design, and business by engaging in real-world public art commissions. We recruit, train, place, and support youth and young adults with art and design aptitudes who might not ordinarily be introduced to entry-level jobs and career paths in the creative industries. AOB apprentices join one of our existing studio crews led by master teaching artists and supported by a team of management professionals. AOB crew members work their way up through summer intensives and year-round projects to produce large-scale mosaic public art. Along the way, they receive customized professional skills training, connect with our creative network, and pursue individualized plans for success in creative careers.

The Mary J. Blige Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) is an organization founded by Mary J. Blige to inspire women from all walks of life to reach their individual potential. Through scholarships, grants, and programs that foster strong self-esteem, career development, and personal growth, FFAWN is intended to help women gain the confidence and skills they need to achieve success. FFAWN will initially focus its efforts in Yonkers and surrounding communities in Westchester and then expand its scope to include the Greater New York area and, eventually, the entire country.

The LEE Initiative Is an Acronym For Let’s Empower Employment. OUR MISSION Wherever we identify a need for more diversity and more equality in the restaurant industry, we will find creative and forward-thinking solutions. We will create small but impactful programs that make a real difference in the lives of the next generation of restaurant industry professionals. We will help our community and inspire others to get involved, get active and give back.

Jitegemee, which means “sustain yourself” in Kiswahili, is a grassroots nonprofit that provides formal and vocational education to street children and destitute youth in Kenya. Jitegemee is dedicated to removing the obstacles that prevent street children from attaining their educational goals.

RI provides emergency relief, rehabilitation and development assistance to victims of natural disasters and civil conflicts worldwide. RI's programs bridge the gap between immediate and long-term community development. This orientation promotes self-reliance and the peaceful reintegration of populations. RI's programs are designed with the input and participation of target beneficiary groups such as women, children and the elderly, whose special needs are often neglected in disasters.

The Midnight Mission offers a path to self-sufficiency to men, women and children who have lost everything. Our emergency services, 12-step recovery programs, job training, education and work programs offer a compassionate bridge to productive lives. We remove obstacles, and provide the accountability and structure that the people who are experiencing homelessness need to rejoin their communities. Our conviction and commitment to their success defines us.
