Saco Food Pantry works to relieve hunger in the Saco community by collecting, purchasing, and distributing food to residents in need; it also runs an “Open Hands Open Hearts” clothing program and focuses on filling gaps left by government programs to help families with short‑term or ongoing food insecurity.

The mission of the Food Bank of East Alabama is to alleviate hunger; to provide an efficient, coordinated system for collecting and distributing food; to reduce food waste; and to increase public awareness regarding hunger and food security issues in East Central Alabama.

The Women’s Housing Coalition provides permanent, affordable, service‑enriched housing combined with individualized supportive services (case management, advocacy, life‑skills training) to formerly homeless, low‑income individuals and families in Baltimore, with an emphasis on helping residents achieve long‑term stability and self‑sufficiency.
