Lovin’ Spoonfuls is the first organization of its kind in Massachusetts and the largest food rescue agency in New England. Established in 2010, Lovin’ Spoonfuls serves over 40 cities and towns in Greater Boston, MetroWest and Hampden County, and works with more than 75 vendor and 180 nonprofit partners. We are dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded. We work to efficiently deliver this food directly to the community organizations and programs where it can have the greatest impact. Lovin’ Spoonfuls is committed to addressing the health, environmental, and economic impact that wasted food has on our community.

Most of the rural children in India are undernourished because they eat poor quality food due to ignorance coupled with poverty. Because of their malnutrition most of the children are not alert and poor in their studies. Many children are also anemic and susceptible to frequent infections. To counteract that condition STAR KID provides all children with nutritious lunch comprised of lentils, green leafy vegetables, rice and clarified butter. They also use fortified salt with Iodine and Iron to improve their general health. The lunch is supplanted by a glass of milk in the afternoon. This lunch cost only $1 for the whole day for 1 child. Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. Orange County, home to some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the nation, is one of the most expensive places to live in the U.S. Despite its affluent reputation, Orange County has significant pockets of poverty where low-income households struggle to afford many basic needs, including nutrition and medical coverage. Serve the People (STP) provides food, clothing, medical care, and legal assistance, giving a hand up, and not just a hand-out. Since its founding in 2008, STP has centered its programs on the needs of the greater Santa Ana community, providing a trusted resource for people who have nowhere else to go for food and healthcare. STP's services allow low-income households to temporarily allocate their precious resources towards other household expenses - like housing and transportation

The Women Inspiration Development Center (WIDC) is an initiative designed to create a safe place for Nigerian women and girls in challenging life circumstances to envision and create new possibilities for their lives, families and communities. WIDC is committed to advancing women's right and creating a refuge for victims of gender based violence and disenfranchised women and girls. Through agency-based empowerment, WIDC supports these women and girls as they improve their health, economic well-being and social status, leading fulfilling lives free of violence. We believe in the inherent potential and ability of every woman to overcome obstacles, take control of her life, emerge confident and strong, and make meaningful contributions to her society. WIDC was formed in 2009 by Busayo Obisakin along with a group of women friends and colleagues. Initially they called themselves Vigilantes against Violence and set out to curb the violence against women and girls through a variety of services and activities they offered throughout the local community. After a short while, it became clear that the name needed to change to reflect the widening scope of the work done by the group to help protect and improve the lives of women in the community. The group officially became registered as an organization, Women Inspiration Development Center, in 2010. Mission: To improve the health, economic, and social status of Nigerian women and girls in order to empower them to lead fulfilling lives free of violence. Vision: We envision a Nigeria where women and girls are empowered and they create new possibilities for themselves without fear or intimidation.

To provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of low-income men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. Food Outreach's primary purpose is to provide proper nutrition and education so clients can use both as powerful tools for the successful management of HIV/AIDS or cancer. All of our services are at no cost to our clients, and we have never turned away a qualified client. We offer a comprehensive nutrition program that includes medically appropriate scratch-made frozen meals and groceries, individual dietetic counseling specific to a client's health status, nutrition education and classes, cooking classes, weekly congregate Monday Hot Lunches, and home delivery as appropriate.

The German Red Cross co-operates with other national Red Cross/ Red Crescent societies, the International Federation of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross in numerous missions concerning: - Emergency Response (including quick assignment of pre-trained personnel and pre-packaged material, provision of relief materials, donations and contributions in cash and in kind to partner organizations) - Rehabilitation after disasters (Reconstruction of houses, medical facilities, and livelihood after disasters) - Development projects with focus on Disaster Risk Reduction / Climate Change Adaptation, Water and Sanitation, Basic Health Care, Livelihood and Capacity Building within Partner Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies and communities.

It is a Mozambican NGO that started its activities in 1997 and was officially recognized in 2004. It is one of the largest Mozambican NGO's with 167 employees. Esmabama's primary goal is to improve the living conditions of people living in the southern part of the Sofala province, by implementing educational, health and income generation projects/activities. In 2006, Esmabama co-founded the Distance Learning Courses of the Catholic University of Beira. It also implements projects supported by several donors, including: EU, GIZ, ADA, PEPFAR. Esmabama reaches populations of about 500.000 people, being 8.000 of them students and 1.700 poor children living at the boarding schools located at the 4 localities (Estaquinha, Mangunde, Barada and Machanga), run by the Association.

Our mission is to support and improve the quality and availability of care for the young people of Hawaii. PATCH is a community service organization dedicated to supporting Hawaii’s child care needs. We help families find the right child care. We offer FREE resources on choosing and paying for child care, child development, parenting, becoming a child care provider, and other useful resources right at your fingertips. Recently, PATCH launched a Homeless Outreach program to address community needs and to assist young children in Hawaii who are experiencing homelessness by offering them resources for their survival, care, education, nutrition and health. THE ORGANIZATON OPERATES WEEKLY FOOD PANTRIES IN SOMERVILLE, BOUND BROOK AND NORTH PLAINFIELD. THE ORGANIZATION MEETS EMERGENCY FOOD NEEDS ON A DAILY BASIS FOR PEOPLE REFERRED BY SOCIAL AGENCIES AND RESPONDS TO FAMILY NEEDS DURING NATURAL EMEGENCIES, SUCH AS FLOODING, FIRE AND THE 2020 PANDEMIC. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTES USDA GOVERNMENT SURPLUS FOOD WHEN AVAILABLE, PURCHASES SPECIAL DIETARY FOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS WHO ARE WITHOUT FUNDS AND DELIVERS WEEKEND MEALS TO SHUT-IN SENOIR CITIZENS. THOSE WHO RECEIVE FOOD INCLUDE FOOD INCLUDE SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES, LOW INCOME FAMILIES, LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED OR UNDER EMPLOYED PERSONS, SENIOR CITIZENS WITH INADEQUATE FIXED INCOMES, AND PEOPLE WITH A GENUINE NEED THAT FALL BETWEEN THE CRACKS OF EXISTING PUBLIC PROGRAMS.

To promote, encourage and project these principles in all its dimensions, within and beyond South Africa's borders. To benefit all of creation, in keeping with these principles, including service to plant, animal , environment and all of humanity irrespective of race, religion, colour, culture, political affiliation or geographical boundary. This service to be conducted in a non-judgemental manner. To uphold the dignity and honour of man, striving to make him self-sufficient and independent at the time of crisis or otherwise; (man refers to both genders where appropriate). To be gender sensitive and to take a special interest in the care of children , orphans , women , physically and mentally challenged individuals and the elderly . Without derogating from the generality of the aforegoing the activities of the Foundation , inter alia , include: Disaster management and humanitarian aid delivery in crises whether natural or man-made including floods, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes , tornado, accidents and war; Establishment of medical facilities , clinics and hospitals; Delivery of medicines and medical equipment; Establishment of feeding schemes, food parcel delivery and poverty relief programmes including assistance with burial and funeral arrangements, provision of new and used clothing, blankets and baby milk powder; Provision of boreholes, waterwells and water purification tablets; Provision of free telephonic and face-face counselling services in matters of depression, drug abuse, relationship problems, HIV/AIDS, marital discord, parenting, learning difficulties, teenage problems, child abuse, domestic violence, maintenance grants, etc. ; Establishment of Drug Rehab Centres and Havens for the abused; women and children in particular; Establishment of orphanages and old age homes; Provision of wheelchairs, hearing aids, braille machines and any such equipment and aids to assist physically and mentally challenged individuals; Provision of Life Skills training; empowerment counselling and skills in counselling; Establishment of skills development programmes, entrepreneul skills and job creation projects; Promoting South Africa as a means to encourage tourism, investment and further job creation initiatives; Provision of agricultural implements and Farmer's Packs (seeds, fertiliser , LAN, etc.) to promote food security and self sustainability; Establishment of educational institutions whether religious or secular; Provision of bursaries, textbooks, stationery, computers, technology workshops and other educational support; Establishment of places of worship including a tekke (meeting place for dervishes or disciples); Promotion of peace, tolerance, understanding, love, mercy and inter-faith dialopue between people, communities, cultures and religions; Promotion of faith, spirituality and religious awareness ; Establishment of community radio, television and media to assist with all the above principles; Support of artists who can promote all the above principles through song , writings, etc.

HRHF is an arm of Hope Rising Homes, Corporation (HRHC). Our mission is to give orphans, vulnerable and at-risk children a better life, by providing hope for a brighter future and a vision of life beyond their present vulnerable situations. HRHC strives to provide food, housing, education, and health care services; as well as rehabilitation, and clinical and faith-based counseling services to these needy children. HRHC aims to provide opportunities for the children to pursue either educational and/or job training, and other skill enhancements needed to become productive citizens. Additionally, by offering positive role models to guide and mentor these children, HRHC believes the children will overcome their negative pasts, and move on to bright and prosperous futures. We strongly believe that with the proper intervention, these children will thrive, develop to their full potential, and positively influence and contribute to their immediate communities and to the society at large.
