Food Gatherers' mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in the Washtenaw County community by: reducing food waste through the rescue and distribution of perishable and non-perishable food, coordinating with other hunger relief providers, and educating the public about hunger and developing new food resources. Food Gatherers also manages and operates a direct service Community Kitchen located in the Delonis Center in downtown Ann Arbor, a Job Training Program in the food service industry to young people at risk of homelessness, and several other community food programs.

The Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois provides philanthropic support for the Community Nutrition Network, allowing it to provide meals and resources to older Americans and people with disabilities, assisting them in leading active healthy lives.

Building mutually transforming relationships to realise individual potential, creating opportunities for development to independence, through partnership with the previously disadvantaged people of Alexandra township, on the border of Sandton, Johannesburg.

CFVI was created to serve both donors and nonprofit organizations of the Virgin Islands that want to ensure the highest quality of life for present and future generations. Its primary goal is to build a collection of permanent funds, which will be used to enhance the educational, physical, social, cultural and environmental well-being of the children, youth, and families of the Virgin Islands. Our programs, operating cost, and much of CFVI's community outreach are provided each year through generous donations from CFVI Angels. The Angel gifts support all we do in the community. The Foundation's immediate primary focus is to assist Virgin Islanders and VI community-serving organizations with relief and recovery associated with the devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Second Harvest of the Big Bend (SHBB) is a nonprofit charity started in 1982 to address the urgent problem of hunger in the community. The food bank’s mission is to meet the short-term nutritional needs of hungry, food insecure people and lead the community in the fight to end hunger.Because people often have to make difficult choices between feeding themselves and their families, and paying for other necessities, no-cost food assistance can lift a big weight from their shoulders. Thanks to Second Harvest, clients can utilize income to pay for other expenses, such as medicines, school expenses for children, rent and utilities. This helps them to save money, increase assets and strengthen resiliency.

The mission of Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, a non-sectarian program of the Church of the Holy Apostles, is to feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, seek justice for people experiencing homelessness, and provide hope and opportunity to those in need. In addition to multiple meal outreach programs, we offer a social services center, writers workshop, health services, exercise classes, discussion groups, computer classes, and more.

Mission: Meals On Wheels of San Francisco and its volunteers provide seniors what they need to live independent and dignified lives — nutritious meals, professional social work and a friendly visitor. Our network of drivers, social workers, nutritionists, community partners, volunteers, donors and advocates are a formidable force against senior neglect and malnutrition.
