To enrich the lives of those suffering from substance abuse by providing opportunities to build healthy and purposeful lives. To provide safe and affordable sober living housing to those recovering from addiction.

COMMUNITY ON THE RISE EXISTS FOR THE EXPLICIT PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THE NECESSARY INFRASTRUCTURE, TOOLS, AND SUPPORT FOR HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME CITIZENS OF THE GREATER BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA AREA AS WELL AS CITIZENS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF ALABAMA, IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE THE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR THESE CITIZENS TO ESCAPE POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS. THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, COMMUNITY, CITY AND STATE-WIDE OUTREACH, HOUSING, AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL WELLNESS SERVICES, COMMUNITY ON THE RISE SEEKS TO POSITIVELY AFFECT LIFE OUTCOMES FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS.

Knit the Rainbow's mission is to provide handmade knit and crochet winter protective garments to homeless LGBTQ+ youth across the nation.

Brunswick Partnership for Housing provides services for more than 300 homeless individuals and families annually and advocates for the development of permanent, safe and affordable housing in Brunswick County. Services include: Outreach and case management Information and referrals Emergency shelter through area motels Transitional housing for homeless families

Assisting Homeless Women in Rock Hill, South Carolina Providing paths for Self-Sufficiency in an environment of Safety, Acceptance, Peace, and Forgiveness.

Zelie’s Home is a caring community that empowers pregnant and parenting women to take positive and effective action on behalf of themselves and their children by providing physical, emotional, spiritual, and professional support.

To provide opportunities for low-income residents of Boyle Heights and East Los Angele to secure housing that is decent and affordable and that is controlled by the residents on a long-term basis; To preserve the quality and afordability of housing for future low-incomeresidents on a long-term basis; and To combat community deterioration in economically disadvantged neighborhoods

HUMANITY HEROES' MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE IMPOVERISHED AND HOMELESS PACKAGED INTO ONE BACKPACK EITHER DIRECTLY TO INDIVIDUALS OR BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL HOMELESS CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR MISSIONS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ALSO HOLD FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS AND SOLICITATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, FOUNDATIONS, AND BUSINESSES TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO INTENDS TO BUILD AWARENESS BY DOCUMENTING AND REPORTING OUR ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS USING MULTIMEDIA TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO BROADEN OUR OUTREACH. RECENTLY, HUMANITY HEROES STARTED PROVIDING RELIEF TO COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY NATURAL DISASTERS.
