Our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for the elderly, single parents with children, and persons with special needs. We offer non-traditional permanent and transitional housing solutions and programs and services that create independence, empowerment, and self-worth.

Metroport Meals On Wheels, Inc. (MMOW) is a grassroots volunteer advocate for the elderly and those in need through home-delivered meals, senior center luncheons, and other support services.  MMOW is "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" to alleviate hunger, isolation, and loneliness in our communities, and to foster the independence, worth, and dignity of each individual we serve.  Supporting independence for the elderly is at the heart of Metroport Meals On Wheels’ mission. For 40 years, MMOW has relieved isolation, supported independence, provided nutrition, enhanced personal safety, and provided nearly 1.75 million meals to seniors.

Heart of the Valley, founded in March 1987, is a non-profit community based 501 (c)(3) corporation, committed to facilitating and supporting independent living for seniors. Our volunteers act as friendly neighbors.

Our mission is to provide a better quality of life for the families and caregivers of those facing the daily challenges of dementing disease, including Alzheimer's. We provide up-to-date information about the diseases, free assistance for planning short and long-term care options and facilitate support groups with respite care. By working with other organizations in our community, we provide individual counseling sessions and art activities for the caregivers and their loved ones.

Hands of The Carpenter serves single working mother's in need by providing automobile placement, repair, and maintenance to assist in their efforts to become and remain economically self-sufficient.

Shepherd's Center of Chesterfield enriches the lives of adults 60 and over by offering opportunities for interfaith community service, lifelong learning and assistance in maintaining a healthy and independent lifestyle.
