Our mission is to transform children’s lives by providing targeted resources, rooted in education, in a trusting partnership with their families and communities.Since 1991, Horizons for Youth has committed to understanding each individual student’s need and filling that gap. Through a series of highly coordinated, targeted support services, we create spaces for youth of all academic ability levels to succeed.

THE MISSION OF THE CARMEL DADS CLUB IS TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH IN SPORTS-RELATED PROGRAMS, AND TO BUILD SELF-ESTEEM, PHYSICAL FITNESS, RESPECT, AND ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH A DIVERSE LEVEL OF SPORTS. THE CLUB PROVIDES INCLUSIVE INVOLVEMENT OF MEMBERS BY BEING A CARING ORGANIZATION, ONE THAT IS MODELED AROUND SPORTSMANSHIP, FAIR PLAY, AND PARTICIPANT SAFETY. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO BUILD EFFECTIVE CITIZENSHIP IN MEMBERS THROUGH TRUST, ACTIVE COMMUNICATION, AND ENTHUSIASM.

Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFS) partners with people of all backgrounds to build stable and dignified lives. Together, we create a stronger and healthier community where everyone can thrive. Founded in 1918, JFS is one of San Diego’s most trusted and comprehensive non-profit human services agencies. Our broad network of staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners are committed to the pursuit of helping individuals and families in San Diego move forward.

Empowering Children and Families was born out of experience working with children and families whose needs weren’t being met. A dedicated and compassionate group of people decided to join forces and build an organization to help kids and families. It was and is the right thing to do. Our mission is to help children and families construct and sustain a healthy foundation for the future. We do this by taking the time to establish trust and build a collaborative relationship. Many parents are too afraid to ask for help and if they do, they cycle through program after program with little to no progress. ECF makes a difference with families by providing a comprehensive “roadmap” unique to each family’s strengths and challenges that is culturally responsive.

Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them. We serve approximately 11,500 girls in grades K5-12, and 5,500 adults who believe in our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. With programs in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties, we give every Girl Scout in our council the chance to reach their full leadership potential.

KCRW is an award-winning public radio station and flagship NPR affiliate based in Santa Monica, CA. A service of Santa Monica College, KCRW has served Southern California and beyond for more than 40 years through innovative news, music, arts and culture programming, and in-person events. Inspired by the spirit of Los Angeles, KCRW connects our diverse communities of listeners through trusted and representative programming. Our work is driven by our steadfast commitment to ethics and integrity, and our content features varied perspectives to create a nuanced understanding of the world around us. We address our listeners’ passions and curiosities with original content distributed through cutting-edge platforms, all while celebrating the relationship-building power of terrestrial radio.

Toigo's mission is to inspire change—to advance more inclusive leadership within finance and beyond. Diversity in Finance | Access to Talent: We develop leaders and foster the career advancement of highly talented women and men throughout their MBA experience. Our 1,700 Toigo alumni are the foundation on which we have built programming to support the career ascension and retention of minority leaders in finance. Sustained Partnerships | Inclusive Leadership: Over the past 30+ years, Toigo’s partnerships have persisted during times of both abrupt change and innovation. The trust we have earned and the lessons learned allow Toigo to help organizations fulfill the promise of more inclusive workplaces through tailored strategies. Toigo’s strong relationships with industry leaders allow us to advocate on behalf of our Alumni with C-suite and corporate board aspirations, entrepreneurial passions and more. We have built a model with a conviction to encourage thinking beyond what is comfortable to what is possible. Today, Toigo Alumni demonstrate the amazing power of combining talent with compassion, impact with community, and business with family. This is the Toigo Legacy.

Our Vision: All Sonoma Valley teens are prepared for future opportunities. Our Mission: Teen Services Sonoma engages and supports teens and young adults with work-readiness skills and experiences that empower them to succeed. Since 1991, we have worked with Sonoma Valley schools, local businesses, and other youth-serving organizations to provide work-readiness skills and experiences that prepare teens for successful employment in a career of their choosing. There are three phases to our approach: Engage - Building comfort, trust, and self-confidence in a safe environment with caring adults at one of our two drop-in centers: The Teen Center and the No Name Cafe. Employ - Through our Ready to Work program, we provide work-readiness training, work-based learning opportunities, job placement services, and coaching. Empower - TSS teens gain the skills, experiences, and confidence to succeed. Our programs include the operation of micro businesses, work-readiness and on-the-job training, and job placement services. Our process allows teens to gain practical experiences, helping to prepare them for meaningful careers in trades, occupations, professions, and small-business ownership.

Founded in 1964 and expanding nationally since 1995, Horizons is a network of high-quality, tuition-free, immersive, academic and enrichment programs for low-income children, providing out-of-school-time supports for the duration of a child’s Pre-K-12th grade experience. Horizons students, all of whom are free-or-reduced-lunch qualified, come from public schools, with roughly 2/3 performing below grade level when they first arrive. Horizons programs operate outside of the regular school day, with a six-week summer intensive, after school, and on weekends. The network has 52+ programs across 17 states and is growing every year. The six-week summer session is Horizons’ hallmark. Beginning in Pre-K or Kindergarten, students join a cohort that receives ample individual attention in a new educational environment: the resource-rich campus of an independent school, college, or university. Horizons programs blend high-quality academics – with an emphasis on literacy and STEM – with arts, fitness, cultural enrichment, field trips, and confidence-building challenges, particularly swimming. Returning year-after-year, our students, staff, and families develop deep, trusting relationships. Horizons is unique among summer programs for four reasons: our insistence on exceptional program quality; partnership with students’ families; long-term approach; and balanced support of academic achievement and healthy youth development. Evidence shows the Horizons approach mitigates gaps of opportunity, skills, and achievement: • Over each 6-week summer session, Horizons students achieve an average 8 to 12 weeks improvement in reading and math – reversing the typical “summer slide” and sending students back to school ahead of where they left in June; • 99% of students in Horizons high school programs graduate on time; • Students show improved social skills, self-confidence, motivation, attitudes toward learning, and school-year attendance. The mission of Horizons National is to initiate, support, and ensure the quality of Horizons programs throughout the United States.

The vision of WOW is to see young people develop into adults with honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, compassion and faith in Christ. Our mission statement is; to develop and deepen trusting relationships between youth and Christ through Christian adults using watersports.
