Breast Cancer Support Fund

The Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund is a national, volunteer driven charity providing financial support to breast cancer patients. There are two sides to every story about breast cancer. For the most part, the story is about pink ribbons and working towards a future where it doesn’t exist. But that ‘s just one side of the story…and it’s not ours. Ours is a story of breast cancer patients taking on debt to pay for food and shelter and medications - as well as other expenses. Ours is the all too common story of struggling, not to survive, but to afford to survive. But, it’s a story were here to change. The Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund provides short-term financial support for breast cancer patients… so they can focus, simply and solely, on fighting their disease.

Berrien County Cancer Service

TO PROVIDE NURSING SERVICES AND ASThe Berrien County Cancer Service (BCCS) has had the honor of caring for Southwest Michigan's cancer patients since 1948. We are a unique skilled oncology nursing service that provides compassionate care for cancer patients and those with related illnesses in the comfort of their own home. We are able to do this at no cost because of the generosity of our community; we are "neighbors helping neighbors" in a time when local cancer patients need our special care. In addition to our nursing care services, we have an extensive loan closet of medical equipment and supplies that we offer at no cost including nutritional supplements, wound management supplies along with incontinence products. We have wigs, hats, turbans and can provide breast cancer patients special products they may need. We host an art program for children and families impacted by cancer to provide emotional support. We assist local cancer patients (Berrien County) being treated by any oncologist.SISTANCE TO CANCER PATIENTS IN BERRIEN COUNTY.

Education
Cannonball Kids Cancer Foundation

The mission of Cannonball Kids’ cancer Foundation (CKc) is to fund innovative, accessible research for children fighting cancer to provide better treatments and quality of life, and to educate for change. Our vision is to find cures for all childhood cancers. Pediatric cancer is the number one killer by disease of children. For kids fighting cancer, only four new treatments have been approved by the FDA in the past 40 years. Forty years! This is unacceptable. Funding new, innovative research is the only solution. The life-saving trials our children need are largely funded by individuals who donate to organizations like CKc. Our foundation is committed to seeking and funding novel research that will truly move the needle in pediatric cancer treatment options. You CAN make a difference with CKc. Thank you!
