With the success of the Salk vaccine in the mid 1950s, the March of Dimes turned its focus on birth defects, low birth weight and infant death. Over the past 75 years, March of Dimes' cutting edge research and innovative programs have saved millions of babies from death or disability. We are committed to educating medical professionals and the public, supporting research, providing comfort and support to families in NICUs, and advocating for moms and babies. All mothers and babies deserve access to the tools they need for the success of their families, so that the future is brighter for all.
Every Mom. Every Baby.
