We provide free education, orientation, and guidance about veganism to Puerto Rico and the Spanish speaking world, via digital, in-person, and printed modes of communication. We cover topics such as animal rights, plant-based nutrition, environmental conservation, and veganic farming, among others.

In Puerto Rico, as in many Spanish-speaking countries around the world, local culture and traditions are still heavily reliant on oppressive, destructive, and unsustainable animal practices. Casa Vegana de La Comunidad strives to be a hub for veganism in Puerto Rico. We support existing vegan business and advocacy communities, and act as an educational resource and point of reference for vegan information, including how a vegan diet contributes to health, mental and physical well-being. We achieve this by hosting vegan awareness and educational opportunities that feature community experts, thought leaders, and inspiring activists and academics. Content includes health topics, veganic farming, animal welfare, and social justice. The strength of a community determines the breadth and depth of its impact, and we support a vegan community that is informed, dedicated, and united. We support and engage the community in Puerto Rico to build awareness about veganism, and reinforce positive experiences with the vegan community.
