The Partnership for a Drug Free Canada (PDFC) is a registered charity comprising volunteer private-sector lead partners from major media, advertising, production, research and corporate sectors.
Modeled after similar organizations in the U.S.A. and Latin America, our reason d’être is:
To prevent kids from using illicit drugs and from abusing prescription drugs.
We will do so by...
Educating Canadian kids and their parents on the negative effects of using illicit drugs and misusing prescription drugs.
Just like using seat belts has now been ingrained in everyone’s habits and drinking and driving has become socially unacceptable, we must educate youth and their parents that the use of drugs is destructive and a threat to health and well-being.
The PDFC is the only Canadian entity, to undertake this potentially ground-breaking massive and ongoing drug prevention education media campaign.
